I ordered the Guitar Hero III bundle as one of my kids Christmas gifts on 12/14/07. To the best of my memory, the website did not inform me that the product was backordered at that time. This game was in high demand and very difficult to find so I would have noticed if it were backordered. I used my debit card to pay for it and the charges appeared immediately.
About a week prior to Christmas, I tried to track my order using the transaction ID number that was provided on the email confirmation I had received from a "Brian Smith" at carguy24-69@yahoo.com (suspicious email), only to discover the transaction number didn't work. I called the number provided on the website and got through to Brian who informed me the product was backordered and will be shipped directly from his supplier.
Needless to say, I never received this item. Since Christmas, I sent an email inquiry and left two messages on Brian's answering machine. I did not receive a return call or an email response. I know my email was received because I sent it with a return receipt.
DO NOT order from this loser website! You WILL get hosed! I am not done fighting this. I spent over $100 dollars for this item. I am struggling financially and that $100 plus dollars is very, very big to me. Not to mention the pain it caused and continues to cause my sons who are very disappointed.
