Complaint Review: TheHairNetwork (Glamourlace Wigs)

After paying in full for merchandise from Glamourlace Wigs aka The Hair Network and not receiving the merchandise, I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I bought 2 stock wigs from this company and received them promptly. Later, I wanted a new custom wig for the upcoming New Years 2010 holiday. I called the companys number and spoke with the owner, Cathy Nedd. I needed help with placing a custom order and she assisted me. Cathy told me the cost of the hair that I wanted and sent me several emails regarding it. She also sent me a Paypal link to pay the full amount. On 11/9/2009, I paid the full amount of $718.95 to the Paypal link Cathy Nedd sent me and I received a confirmation from Paypal and a confirmation email from Cathy Nedd that it was received. She stated because my wig was a custom order, it will take over 45 days to be completed. That was 11/9/2009. I have still NOT received a wig and Cathy Nedd laughs and hangs up on me anytime I call. I have left her messages and emails, yet they are not returned. Paypal was unable to refund my money since I didnt dispute it until after 45 days although I explained that the business owner advised me it would take over 45 days to receive my wig. The owner is cunning by telling her customers to wait for custom orders which happen to fall past any Paypal or credit card dispute times. The Hair Network aka Glamourlace Wigs aka My Lace Wig Store is conducting deceptive business practices. Had I done my research before ordering from this company, I would have uncovered various online complaints from other consumers who paid monies and never received merchandise for custom wig orders.
