themodchip.com Rip Off STOLE my ps2 and $90! Stay Away!! San Marcos California
I sent my ps2 to this company to have a modchip installed. The person was really friendly that I talked to on the phone and assured me of a quick turnaround. When they got my ps2, their site went down and didn't come back up for two weeks. The site said people were still there to answer questions and I could call if I want. Well, I couldn't call... their phone number has been conveniently disconnected and never reconnected (even though its still on their website).
Associated persons/websites: EvolutionAuction@aol.com, shawnspaypal@aol.com. Company is also known as "IECINTL". That's where I was told to send my ps2. I have not received any responses to my emails since they rec'd my ps2. I have filed a fraud report w/ paypal and will go to BBB next.

I did finally get my ps2 back after 2 months. And they also acted like I was the jerk. They made up some story about a guy dying and that since they couldn't get into his paypal account, they were going to keep my ps2 until I sent them another $90!! Unbelievable...I can't believe they'd do business like that. They're lucky I'm not in San Marcos, otherwise I would have paid them a nice, friendly visit....
