themoviedownloads.com Movie Download scam Internet
I am writing in response to a previous report put on here regarding www.moviedownloads.com. I have had EXACTLY the same experience (only the price has gone up!).
Unfortunately, it has dragged in a bona-fide company whom they 'gave' (sold?) my details to, intimating I wanted to buy one of their products which simply wasn't the case. This led to me not only battling www.moviedownloads.com for a refund, but also another company for a further 200 USD they had apparently debited in good faith.
And I, too, have had infuriatingly anodyne emails from Heather Johnson and David Jones. God knows who these people really are, but they are lying scammers.
I doubt I will ever see the money again, but I have set both my bank and this other company investigating them. I hope they are caught and fined heavily.
