I started with My Technology Partners, another company owned by Tom Capone, back in October in 2006. I worked for a full month before I got my first two pay checks. These checks are supposed to come in every week.

During the month of November and December, others continued to join the company, and I saw where they would turn in their invoices and then the majority wouldn't get paid. A lady came in to do accounting and left a few weeks later when her first couple of pay checks didn't come in when they were supposed to. She continued to email the company. These emails went unanswered by Tom Capone. Since I was still with the company and part of my job was to answer emails, I answered the emails and explained I too would email and forward her email to Tom and tried to help her get the money she needed. The boss continued to ignore my emails. For weeks he would not respond on that.

For two months after I got two initial checks, I no longer received checks at all. I wasn't the only one not getting paid, several other employees were also complaining to Tom and he either ignored their emails or made promises that didn't hold.

Eventually, some employees were paid by the end of December. Not everyone was getting them but enough to put us all at ease, for a little while.

I was nervous about going back and working again in January. I was worried the same thing would happen, that checks would be held for months before I would see them. I left 4 weeks later when over $280 wasn't paid. It is now almost June of 2007 and no checks have arrived even now to compensate me for that time. I've stopped expecting it too, but I was one of the lucky ones. Some are now owed thousands of dollars.

This is not the only problems with his business. He is also known to double dip on clients. He will cash a check twice, and customers were constantly complaining and he would tell them it wasn't so or it was their banks fault.

I feel bad for those I introduced into the company. At first I thought he was misguided and really busy. Now I understand that he really did know what he was doing which is even worse. He's been doing this for years. He changed his business name, his email address, he will use PO Boxes and change the phone number. I fear he will continue to do this until someone can stop him. I'm all for forgive and forget if he made a mistake and tried to make up for it. This guy just kept going and didn't even apologize for his behavior. Don't bother working for this guy or even doing business with him.
