I was involved in a truck/deer accident on June 25th, 2014 and the dealership that I bought the truck from, did not have a body shop. They suggested Thomas Auto Collision at 1530 N. Leroy St. in Fenton, Michigan.  Mr. Rusty Ross, Body shop Manager, picked up the truck and take it to their facility. The insurance company took 5 days to get out and inspect the truck. Work started after they got the ok for the claim. On July 18th, I got a call from the BS Manager telling me that the truck was done and it was over at the dealership for review. I arrived on July 19th, to find a VERY poorly repaired and painted 2014 truck with 3,600 miles. I went over the truck and circled all of the poorly repaired or painted areas with a paint pen. I had the truck sent back to the BS, and they tore it down again and sanded, repainted, re-fit components due to the poor repairs that were done including areas due to dirt in the paint, dust under the clear coat, wheel well flares damaged due to improper removal, painted wiper cowl pocket, hair in the paint, huge amounts of over spray as well as had to replace the $600 hood decal due to their damage on install. They did a very poor job the first time and the second trip into the BS was almost as bad... But for a THIRD time, that's ridiculous!  They still couldn't get it right after the second time and I even looked at the truck in their parking lot with their BS Manager and pointed out MORE flaws.  Now, my insurance company took care of 30 days of a rental car, so from June 25th to July 25th, the rental was covered by my insurance policy... The insurance company actually covered 6 days of the BS work the second time around, until July 25th.  I had to either turn in the rental car or be w/o a vehicle. The BS had my truck an additional 11 days past the 25th of July and who got stuck with that bill... I did! I went back to pick up my truck, and on the way home, found out that the BS never re-charged my A/C in the truck, and never told the dealership to change out the seatbelt collision sensor. The BS refuses to pay the excessive rental bill of $374 due to their mistake. WHAT A JOKE!  All I have been asking for and would like to do, is get refunded $408 that I had to pay for because they had the truck back in multiple times to repair it.  Had they satisfactorily completed it right the first time on July 18th, I would not have incurred the $374 for the EXCESSIVE rental... Plus the cost of the refrigerant, $34, which I had to purchase to recharge my A/C in my almost new truck. They do not feel it's their responsibility to take care of the rental bill.
