Thomas Dixon & Associates SCAM!!!!! houston, Texas
These guys are a total rip off. i worked for these idiots and i can tell that this whole thing was a scam. these people are a collection agency and are misrepresenting themselves as private investigators for the county. they tell you that you are going to get paid once a month x amount of dollars and then turn around and give you nothing close to that amount. these people are greedy and that is why they will never make it as a company. ms. ward thinks she knows how to run a business and manage a team but she is not leader material. isnt it against the law to verbally agree and promise your employee that she will get paid x amount of dollars and then just because the employee left now your only going to give them a percentage of thier wages.

Ms. Wood I understand what you are saying. But the experience I had with this company was anything but pleasant or legal. I explained my case had been dismissed and was still threatened with jail time among other things. I called the Attorney Generals office as well as the secretary of state. These peoples business practices are illegal. I've also checked both Harris and Travis counties and they are not private investigators for these counties as they present themselves. Sorry but the majority can't be wrong.

Hello my name is Jackie Wood and I have known this same firm for some time Thomas, Dixon Associates. They are licensed and governed according to proper guidelines. I have seen this same firm that you are calling a collection agency, go into Travis County and pick up (2) people that have forfeited on bonds and written bad checks. I do feel that it is wrong and mis-leading for you to make false statements that could cause harm to others. If you did not want to resolve your obligation to what ever problem you may have had that is your right, but to make the statements are unfair and could cause harm to someone that does want to do the right thing. No disrespect but if you are a dead beat fine, but don't cause heart ache for others that want to do the right thing.
This is why your situation was placed with their firm in the first place you failed to do the right thing.
The statement seems to also have been written by an idiot that is angry with the firm. You can not please all of the people all of the time, and if every firm were rated according to the guidelines of an angry ex-employee then there would be not a firm open in the United States. (REALLY)
The proper thing to do would be to just cut your lost and move on, after all statements such as these can cause legal actions to be placed and filed on the writer. Be mindful of making ugly statements or doing things that could a law suit to be filed and you wind up in court.
Jackie Wood.
