Complaint Review: Thomas Hoffman

On Friday 7/27/18, I inquired about a french bulldog puppy from a website called Crown French Bulldogs Home(crownfrenchbulldogshome.com).  I immediately received a response about a male French bulldog puppy named Monty that was 10 weeks old for sale for $750.00.  I inquired further asking more questions, and we decided to move forward with purchasing the puppy for $750.00 plus an additional $100.00.  The money was wired and the seller Thomas Hoffman picked up the money the morning of Saturday, 7/28/18 and supposedly gave the puppy to a courier service. 
As of Saturday morning, the puppy was supposed to deliver Saturday evening on a flight from Richmond, VA to DFW Intl airport in Dallas, TX and the courier would deliver the puppy to me directly. 

Next came another email (Saturday morning) from the courier SafeWay Delivery Logistics (safeway.delivery.logistics1@email.com) asking for insurance for the puppy (refundable insurance in the amount of $980.00).  I asked the seller and he seemed confident in the courier service and that the insurance was refundable.  At that point, I had communication with both the seller and the courier. After wiring the insurance money on Saturday 7/28/18, the puppy was supposed to deliver Saturday night.  Saturday night turned to Sunday, and Sunday turned into Monday.  The courier sent additional emails now wanting $2000 for a crate for the puppy.  At this point, I told both the seller and courier no additional money would be sent. 

I lost communication with both the seller Thomas Hoffman and the courier Rashawn Tory on Monday, 7/30/18.  The courier and I last spoke on Monday, 7/30 at 11:36 am for 6 minutes and I was supposed to receive a call from a supervisor.  No call received and all communication lost at that point. 
I have many texts, emails, and had multiple conversations with the courier and seller.  I have documentation if needed.
