Thomas Somerville Company no warranty what so ever rockville, Maryland
I purchased a home air conditioning unit from Thomas Somerville Company. I owned it for 1year and 6 months. I had a problem with the unit and called a local heating and air conditioning company to diagnose the problem. They said the unit had a leak in the coil which lead to the compressor not getting enough oil and locked up. Thomas Somerville said I didn't report it soon enough so they could warranty the product. I played phone tag with the big Northeast division rep and got the run a round from October to December. The whether got cold and I had to buy another unit and get it installed. I contacted the BBB and they received the complaint 12/16/2009. I gave up thinking Thomas Somerville was going to replace the unit, or even the coil and compressor only. They sell these products and need to back them up!

The Thos. Somerville Co. web site indicates their products include a limited warranty. Maybe I misread something... What brand air conditioner did you purchase that comes with "no warranty what so ever"?
If there is no warranty, then why did you write, "Thomas Somerville said I didn't report it soon enough so they could warranty the product"?
