Mr. Trent has not paid child support on a regular basis since it was ordered. He is only ordered to pay the smallest amount possible of 156.00 a month.
Mr. Trent is currently over 3,300 dollars behind in his support.(give or take a few dollars)Can you belive he even filed a petition with the court to have his rights terminated because he did not feel he should have to pay because I had re-married?
He has not served jail time for failure to pay. As far as I know his driver's permit is still valid. So what is the state doing to recover this money?
I have become very frustrated with the whole situation.How come some non-custodial parents are reamed when it comes to payment of child support and some seem to continue to skate or fly under the radar?

I forgot to include before that Mr. Trent has also never paid a dime of the 50% of the uninsured medical that has piled up over the years either. When consulting with a lawyer the price to resolve these issues really is not affordable. I could see if court costs could be included in the judgement but he has not paid so far so the risk becomes mine I guess.
