Complaint Review: Thompson Hill Publishing

These people claim ATC owes $444.50. They say that their representative called ATC and obtained approval for a Yellow Page advertising contract.

(1) Our company purchases NOTHING from incoming telephone solicitations. (2) No one other than the owner is authorized to sign any contract. (3) There is no record of an invoice being received at ATC. (4) ATC pays original invoices only and does not pay statements or other written documents of any kind.

If this company did call ATC (We have no record that they did) they may have reached one of our customer service representatives who may (?) have understood the caller to be from ATT / SBC / Verizon or Idearc Yellow Pages who we have or are doing Yellow Pages business with.

It is possible that our employee agreed that we do business with these people.

It is not possible that any order was placed or contract agreed to with Thompson Hill Publishing Inc. Looking into this further leads to the conclusion that they are trying to make ATC the victim of a SCAM.
