Complaint Review: Thomson Consumer Electronics

I bought a Rca dvd/vcr recorder from walmart. Sent it back to Thomson, when it became defective while under warranty. So far so good.They sent me a replacement without incident. Now, the repacement unit failed ..withen the remainder of the warranty period. And thats where my troubles began. Took Thomson a full month to send me a shipping label, and then only after repeated request's and phone calls. Next, I returned the unit right away According to FedX, They got it on August 27,and ever since they've kept me waiting on a refund. With no end in sight. They keep stalling me, and runing me around in circles...saying that I should recieve one in 4-6 weeks, then when I call back weeks later? THey give me the same song and dance, and parot that I'll receive a refund in 4-6 weeks. Problem with that is: I've been waiting on that refund for about 4 1/2 months! Every time I call they move the clock & callender back further. LOL. I've asked to talk with a Superviser,..but they'll never but never switch me over to one. For the past 2 months, they tell me my refund has been approved...and I'll be getting it in 2-3 weeks. I tell them how long I've waited? But they just respond with the same ole same oh, That I'll recieve it in 2-3 weeks. Iam really not sure what to do. bUT tHOUGHT i'D GIVE MY 2 cENTS WORTH. WILLIAM A.
