Thorobred Chevrolet False Advertisement Chandler Arizona
I have never written a RipOff report but after what I have experienced in the last couple days I do believe this company should have a bad review so the consumer like myself can watch out for these types of dealerships.
On 2-17-2016 I went into Thorobred Chevy and wanted to look at a specific Chevy Tahoe that currently was listed for $41,475. I talked to the salersperson Marc who walked me through the vehicle and we went on a test drive. After the test drive I verified with him the price of the vehicle and asked that he calls me in about an hour after I speak with my wife. He called back and only asked about a "trade in" which was never an issue because that shouldn't matter when I have a "letter of funds" from my bank. Regardless I asked him to call me back and tell me what the EXACT price of the truck, tax title license etc. We never got a call back.
On 2-18-2016 I called and spoke with assitant manager Ryan about this issue and said he would call me back and get it resolved and we could move forward. Ryan called me back after speaking with Sam (sales manager) and said that the price that was online and what I was quoted was an "old" price and "we will NOT honor that price"!!! Well Not really sure how that works because if you look right now (and we have pictures we have eveything) online that is the price of the vehicle and the stock number but they will not sell it to me for the price that is it listed for. I have bought 3 other vehicles from this company and will no longer work with them every again.
About 20 minutes are Ryan told me they would not honor the price that I was quoted and is listed the manager called me back and said that "he was sorry, Marc was wrong and the internet price is wrong" BUT could sell it to me for a different price. Of course this price was not the price that I was quoted OR that is online right now but higher! FALSE ADVERTISMENT big time at this place!
Anyway just wanted consumers to be made aware of this company and to watch out for them.
