Just one week before our family vacation we find out there isn't a place to hold the reunion (and then only because we called them to ask a question!)...but Three Bears Resort was happy to keep ALL our reservation money anyway! I have tried to follow up with the town of Warrens who continues to tout the resort on their website. I have tried to follow up with the lawyer (Mike Polsky @ 414-273-4200) but he doesn't return my calls. I have tried to follow up with the Business office (Ryan Connon @ 608-378-2000) but, you guessed it...to no avail!

It seems these people do not care who they screw out of their money and how desperately you need YOUR OWN money back! I have also called the number that all the websites (which still advertise the resort) point back to @ 1-888-386-9644...guess what "nobodyknowsnottin!" is the common answer and the finger pointing starts again...call Mike...call Ryan...JUST GIVE ME THE MONEY YOU OWE ME!!!!!!

This organization even had the balls to send ME an email boasting the fact THEY were reopening and I should get MY reservation in quickly because THEY are booking fast! JUST GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK...$2000 should cover the deposit, interest and time spent trying to recover MY OWN MONEY!

Do not under ANY circumstances give ANY money to Three Bears Resort in Warrens, MI...they are not to be trusted!

Screwed by one of the three bears...and not liking it!

y one of the three bears...and not liking it!

We inquired about a refund in October 2008 and we weren't given receivership info

Ryan states that anyone inquiring about getting their money back was given the information about contacting Mike Polsky. This is simply not true. We contacted Three Bears Resort in October of 2008 to get a refund. We were told our name would be put on a list of people seeking a refund (not seeking to rebook) and we would be updated on the procedure to follow and be refunded as part of the settlement.

It was only after we got tired of waiting and started to call repeatedly did we receive the info and by then it was too late. The disturbing thing is there are still many websites out there that willing to book a room with a resort that is belly up!

Ryan...just give me my money...

Unfortunately the holding firm didn't return my calls until four days after the deadline to submit a claim!

Yes you folks at Three Bears gave me all the contact information, but...unfortunately the holding firm didn't return my calls until four days after the deadline to submit a claim! Here I am left holding the bag again! I repeatedly called the firm where Mike Polsky is a partner but his delay in returning my call insured my not getting a chance for any refund or any steak in the claim!

You would have to be dumber than BoBo Bear to give this organization any of your money...check out some of the other complaints at other complaint websites (such as http://www.complaintsboard.com/complaints/jellystone-three-bears-resort-c93723.html) if you don't trust me! New ownership or not...burnt once, shame on you...burnt twice, shame on me!

By the way, Ryan let me know I was bothering him and I should not ever call him again...don't bother him with any of your reservation money either!

Still with out my money and now without hope of ever seeing it!

Unfortunately, Three Bears Resort closed in September of 2008, leaving several customers and also employees with debts owed to them. As of Jan 2009, a WI court appointed the Receiver, Mike Polsky to handle all debt claims. Legally the staff of what is currently Jellystone Park-Camp-Resort in Warrens WI cannot offer any type of compensation for lost funds that was paid to Three Bears Resort in 2008. The receiver's information has been passed on to all parties who have inquired about their claims.

In February of 2009 an email was sent to previous guests of the resort announcing the hotel and campground that was once Three Bears Resort would re-open. However, since early March of this year it was deemed by the court appointed receiver that only the campground portion would be re-opened for the 2009 season.

All of the staff here at the Jellystone Park-Camp-Resort in Warrens, WI are deeply saddened by what has happened to the guests who lost funds and also friends and coworkers that both lost funds and are now unemployed, due to the shutdown of Thee Bears Resort.

To better serve our guests, we ask that any inquires regarding this report, claims, and funds owed be directed to the court appointed law office of Mike Polsky 414-273-4200, and not Jellystone Park-Camp-Resort in Warrens, WI.

Jellystone Park Camp Resort in Warrens, WI is proud and excited that we are able to re-open for the summer 2009 camping season. We have lots of fun activities and events happening this summer.
