I had a 2 year contract with Three a few year ago now.

When my contract was coming to an end and I gave notice to them that I wanted to cancel the contract which was confirmed by text message.

The next day (The day my contract was supposed to end) I received a text saying something along the lines of thank you for upgrading with Three mobile to a Samsung Galaxy S3 (The most current phone at the time) at £40 per month. My contact was only £10 a month and a definately never upgraded to a £40 a month contract or ordered a brand new Samsung Galaxy S3.

I phoned them and they asked me for my password which I told them I didnt know. They were very rude and said they couldn't talk to me without my password which I dont even remember setting. When we finally managed to get someone to speak to us they were very hard to understand and they were lacking in the English department.

They told me I called them and requested an upgrade to the Samsung Galaxy S3 at £40 a month. I told them there was no such phone call, I did not call them and I definately did not upgrade and that I cancelled the contract altogether because of the rubbish service and no signal. I told them I even had a text message to confirm. They kept saying I called them and that we apparently had this conversation. It was very fustrating and it kept going backwards and forward with me being called a liar. She told me that I apparently gave my password over the phone and the fact that the Three call centres asked for my password shows that they must have access to my so called password themselfs, so I believe the fraud lies within Three.

She then went on to tell me that the new phone was being sent to Slough, I dont even live in Slough I live in Stevenage so where the hell they got that from I dont know and this just made me even more suspicious but again I got called a liar and she was bein very aggressive towards me on the phone.

I asked for the recording of this so called phone conversation we had as it says on their phone calls that all calls are monitored. They would not provide the phone call as evidence. (What a surprise)

I tried to tell them to cancel the phone being sent to Slough as it was not my address and they would not cancel it.

I never resolved the situation, I had to cancel the direct debit to avoid paying for someone elses new Samsung Galaxy S3 at £40 a month.

I believe the fraud lies within Three or their call centre as they seem to be the only ones with access to my details. The attitude they displayed towards the situation seemed to show they already knew what was going on and it was no shock to them that there was fraudulant account activities.

My advice steer clear of Three:

Rubbish Service

No Signal

Foreign Call Centers

Rude Staff

Fraudulant Account activities with no protection
