I was about to miss my flight and knew I wouldn't have time to fill the gas tank. I figured oh, ok I'll have them fill it. Gas in portland Oregon is $2.35 a gallon. A Toyotoa Corolla has a $13 gallon tank. If I had filled the tank it would have been $30.
Thrifty charged me $115----- TEN DOLLARS A GALLON to fill it!! That's pure ROBBERY!
I calld them and they said I signed it in the contract. Well ok, whatever. But nobody mentioned that at the time I was at the rental desk. Any company who would rape their customers financially is not worthy of my business.
I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN. DON'T USE THRIFTY.
Besides that, their service to get to and from the airport was super slow because they only had one driver running the routes that two or three should run. So the buses were plum full of people and standing room only during a COVID EPIDEMIC!
DON'T USE THRIFTY!!
