Thryve Fitness Solutions A failure on every level. The exact opposite of "personalized" training. Chicago Nationwide
A few months ago, I decided to up the intensity of my work outs and after joining a new gym, I agreed to try one of the free personal training assessment with Thryve. I was promised a fitness assessment, nutritional plan, workout regimen, regular measurements, and a trainer to work with.
None of these promised services ever occurred. After 2 or 3 months, my first three trainers had all quit and I was left without anyone to schedule sessions. Prior to that, my trainer would often cancel sessions at the last minute or not bother to show up. I asked around the gym and none of their employees could help me figure out where my trainers went. I tried contacting Thryve and my trainer without any response.
Finally, about 1 month ago a new batch of trainers appeared at the gym. I got along well with one of the new trainers and I was finally able to start scheduling regular sessions again. However, only a few short weeks later, my new trainer has again quit and I am now left without a workout plan, no trainer, and hundreds of dollars of unusable prepaid sessions.
I am still unable to talk to anyone at Thryve. At least I received an email response, but they have not offered any suggestions or solutions.
In short, STAY FAR AWAY. I would have been better off joining another gym, working out on my own or just staying at home than wasting my time and money trying to deal with a company that apparently cannot retain a single employee for more than 2 months.
