I have used thumbtack for a few yrs to find handyman jobs to do for pay.   Thumbtack went from charging for each bid to only charging when I receive a response from a bid I submitted.    During the change of this format, not all of the services were set to the new system.    I made several bids to do research on area charges.    They charged me for most of the bids I made even though they say they had changed the format.    They refused a refund ( when I was able to reach someone).   They offer a phone number nobody answers,  they offer text help that nobody responds back too.  

I was just charged 40$ for one response from one job.   I cant even reach the company to complain.    Due to all the negative reviews, why are they still functioning as a service????

I want to be part of any lawsuit and Im willing to meet with any atty to offer my complaints of thumbtacks lack of service.    

They rip people off and know that they do.   They make it impossible to reach them to complain.    I am fed up with their lack of empathy to their clients.
