Jacob Hutkins, of TicketProviderUSA.com,  is running a scam through eBay on the account "stubsnow" where he sells tickets that he does not own, and then simply doesn't provide them if he cannot find them cheaper.  He words his auctions as if he has contacts with boosters and donors, but this is all a big fancy way of him saying he is waiting for the ticket prices to tank and hopes you overpay.

If the event takes place between 1-90 days and he can't get something similar to what he sold, he refunds and makes up some story.  If it takes place 90+ days out you are on your own and can't even leave feedback.  Most of what he sells are events that are very generic like music festivals where you can get general admission seating from anyone at a later point in time, or Masters golf tickets where he can literally sell multiple thousands of dollars in auctions without delivering for over a year - well beyond being able to do a chargeback.

In my particular case, I won two auctions from him, paid right away, and then promptly received a refund saying he had already sold the tickets.  Later, he admitted that the price was too low but offered nothing.  Appropriate feedback was left. He then went ballistic, harassing me in emails, finding out my phone number, threatening me, etc.  A few days later he came back and said that he felt really bad about everything and apologized, and then promised to fulfill the auctions despite the low final auction price.  Reluctantly I agreed and sent payment.  He then did a complete 180 and proceeded to try and use my payment as leverage in getting me to remove his negative feedback.  When that didn't work, he went to eBay and concocted a story that I was some competiting ticket broker trying to sabatoge his account and then held my money until I had to get eBay involved.  Then once eBay requested that he send proof of shipment, he decided to commit mail fraud and send a trackable package with nothing in it!

Long story short, I never got any tickets and I wasted hours upon hours on the phone with eBay, Paypal, and my credit card company just trying to get my money back.  He is a habitual liar.  In the course of 2 auctions, he managed to not only fail to honor the auction as a seller, but he also tried to extort me for feedback and made harassing threats and prank phone calls.  I should have probably expected this from some 20 something wannabe ticket broker who obviously doesn't have enough money to be a real ticket broker, but I honestly did not know someone like this actually existed.

Consider yourself warned, and if you see "StubsNow" selling tickets on eBay, stay away!

Again we are very sorry that someone is attempting to scam you,  but ticket provider does not sell on ebay nor have an ebay aacount, a former employee of ours who had set this account up may still be using it without our approval or knowledge and we will look into the matter.  But ticket provider nor myself have any affiliation at this time with any stubsnow account.  Again the phone number and address you have provided was my parents and never had any affiliation with any ebay or ticket broker accounts of any kind.  You must have googled my name and found that info as it would not be associated with any legitimate accounts of ours.  We do not sell tickets we don't possess nor do we sell on ebay.  Since we are not dealing with you directly we have no way to contact you with any method nor do we know your name so we can't even get any additional info on the matter.   I do not even have a paypal account although a former employee had set one up in my name so its possible there still using it which would be fraudulent.  So please provide me with any info you have and I will look into the matter.  If you are out money or tickets please also let us know and we will do what we can to help you with that aswell.  Again I realize your frustration but someone is attempting to use my info to scam you it appears and I have a pretty good idea who it is.

thanks for sharing this information with us so we can act on it.

The rebuttal sumbitted by Jacob Hutkins is a sorry attempt to cover his tracks and explain why eBay closed down his account.  I can upload proof of the Paypal payment made that was ultimately refunded by Jacob for the price being too low, AND the resent payment that he coerced me into sending by promising to deliver (even though the price was low because "he felt bad"), only to not deliver, play games, and just hold the money that ultimately Paypal/Ebay had to refund.

The mere idea that he's claiming that this is all some conspiracy theory is rubbish because the paypal account is set up in his name, his email account, and paypal requires bank account approval before approving a business account.  That and he's openly acknowledged everything in his messages. Jacob also went so far as to claim to eBay that I sent him male on male porn and was actually harassing him, when all I did was explain the situation to eBay and file this RipOffReport.  I haven't responded to his messages or contacted him since the day I originally posted this ripoff report, and he is still messaging me claiming that I'm harassing him.  Textbook Fruedian's theory of projection.

This entire report is phony and fraudulent.   Ticket Provider does not even have an ebay sellers account or use ebay to sell tickets.  We have a perfect rating thru the bbb.   Someone on here obviously bought tickets from a different ticket company and is using a similar name.  This person must have found our info thru google and than associated it with this phony ebay account.  Again Ticket Provider does not use ebay and this is either completely made up or just someones attempt to sabotage our name or scam us.  The address and phone number posted is my parents address that I haven't lived at in over a decade and has no association with our company in anyway.  Again I'm sorry this person got scammed, but no one purchased anything from ticket provider and we didn't accept any funds for any of the referenced sales.  We do not even sell masters tickets nor are we affiliated with any stubsnow account. Furthermore we only sell real inventory that we have and have. Again someone is obviously using our name to sell stuff.  If you have any more info on who you sent the money too or with what method please post so I can have my attorney look into the matter further.

Thanks,

Jake
