Ticket Scalpers For Upcoming Nine Inch Nails Shows... These are die hard fans, for sure... Internet
To everyone who got the chance to purchase the pre-sale tickets for the upcoming next/last few shows and are reselling them to REAL fans for double, triple or even quadruple the face value of these tickets are - jeers to you! I was in this online waiting room for 45 minutes waiting for what I thought would be a ticket purchase and before I knew it, all the NYC tickets were sold out and I was extremely upset. Keep in mind, these aren't even paper tickets, the people selling these tickets have to actually be at this show and meet you and get the tickets for you. How would you be able to look someone in the eye knowing how much you just ripped off this true fan because they wanted to see a great band live, before they went away? Most ticket scalper sites like StubHub etc. are trying to sell these thickets for over $1000. The face value of these tickets is $55 plus a $10 fee, and the paperless ticket system was done to reduce scalpers, which apparently didn't work as well as Nine Inch Nails wanted. It was brought to my attention that people were actually doing this and I checked places all over the internet including eBay, Craigslist and ticket scalper sites. I even emailed some of these people off Craigslist to ask them what they wanted for price. Some were at $350, some were higher... some just wanted their travel expenses paid for. Seriously?? You wasted other peoples time sitting there waiting these tickets, buying 4 at a time for each of the 4 shows knowing you only needed one or two of the tickets and you could use people for your own personal travel costs PLUS more. You people are pathetic and I hope you enjoy knowing how much you're ripping off the true NIN fans. I, on the other hand, am a true fan but I am not willing to break my bank for some loser who knows the power they hold with those paperless tickets. Hopefully too many people don't get ripped off and show up to these shows and don't get stood up. Hope they also know how to use PayPal resolution center and get their money back when this happens...
