Ticket Titan II Event Ticket Sales LLC BEWARE: Company Uses Deceptive Practices, They Are SCAMMERS!! Omaha Nebraska
Was interested in tickets for John Williams performing in Detroit. Googled what I thought was the venue website. Looked legit and even had a picture of the actual doors of the venue. Talked to a guy who said I could secure tickets in desired section before tickets actually went on sale and they'd arrive by FedEx 2 weeks after the actual date they went on sale. He took my credit card number and charged me $650 for 2 tickets (included sales tax and fees, seemed reasonable for the kind of show I was buying tickets for). Three weeks later, no tickets. I called customer service who told me they're still in process and taking a bit longer than usual. Said I'd wait a bit longer. But a knowledgeable friend warned that I may have gotten a false website to begin with (which was true)--that some scam companies make legit looking websites to lure you away from the venue site you're actually looking for. That made me nervous, so I called them again, now realizing by the address in the email that it was a company in Omaha, Nebraska instead of Detroit. They kept trying to assure me that they were a legit company, that my tickets would come. When I asked why I never got an email with the FedEx tracking number, they said they don't always send those out, but that they'd send it to me. If I didn't get it by the following week's end, call back. Well, still no email, still no tickets. Called again and they told me they're still waiting for the tickets to come from THEIR vendor who won't send them out till a few weeks before the concert. This was a confirmed sold out show, so if they were going to get tickets, they should have gotten them by then. Told them I felt like they were scamming me and giving me excuses to keep buying time. Said I was considering canceling my transaction. Was told all transactions are final so they can't help me there. So I called my credit card company and disputed the charge. Also did some online research and found nothing listed under the name Event Ticket Sales, but Googled their address and found the name Ticket Titans II, which also seemed fishy. Also found 2 other reports on RipOff Report.com against Ticket Titans, one of which was similar to my story. Also found that there were numerous (about 30) complaints on Better Business Bureau website including several for deceptive practices and one unresolved issue. Never got my tickets, but at least credit card company gave me my money back (which is all I cared about at this point) and is going after Ticket Titans/Event Ticket Sales for the money. MORAL OF THE STORY: *ALWAYS* check to make sure you're dealing with the actual venue or a trusted, legitimate company such as Stub Hub or Ticket Master. And always pay with credit card!

Forgot to mention they also way overcharged me for the tickets. Actual prices ranged from $30-$250. I paid $250 for rear orchestra section, which was second best. They were charging $350 for the best seats. Not to mention the ticket processing fees were outrageous. Was charged a total of nearly $650 for 2 tickets. Luckily, once I disputed the charge, my credit card company refunded the money to me and went after them for it.
