Pretty expensive for a form letter. For $249, you get a form letter challenging your ticket on grounds that are so familiar to the cops that it's laughable. It looks impressive, but every officer on the force will testify that they're properly trained and certified, their equipment is reliable and calibrated, and they complied with all requirements of issuing the ticket. They've seen these letters before, and they're not fooling anyone. Ticketbust then uses any technicality they can to weasel out of refunding the $149 part of their fee they claim is a warranty. In my case, they claim I wasn't entitled to the warranty because I sent them the 3 signed copies 13 days before my ticket was due instead of their stated 15 days. It's pretty simple for them - heads they win, and tails they don't lose. In the meanwhile, you've spent an extra $249, and blow a half day showing up for live trial (which they require you to do to get the refund), only to find out that they're not honoring the warranty.

The people who work for Ticketbust know the scam, but take advantage of their clients anyway. Nice, eh?
