Ticketbust.com rip off Internet
I found Ticketbust online and decided to try it for a red light ticket. I called and gave them my info over the phone and they emailed me forms to overnight mail them.
I was notified that in my first trial I had been found guilty. I called them for my refund and they told me that they would file an appeal for me. I found out later that that meant I had to go to court myself. When I called them back to ask what a should present in court, they said they would email some info. After several calls and weeks of waiting, I finally got an email telling me things like dress appropriately, don't be late, and they have to PROVE it was you in the car. Well duh! I never was able to see what they sent to the first trial but with crack legal advice like that it's no wonder I lost.
I then called them back after being found guilty again to inquire about my refund. No problem they said -fill out this form and send it back. I sent the form in and after some time received a form letter saying I did not qualify for the refund because my request was not timely (I guess timeliness only goes one way) - I was 5 days over the 10 day deadline they hadn't mentioned to me on the phone. They had also checked they box indicating that I had not sent the original request in 14 days before the trial (which is why they had me overnight mail it to them.) I realized as I looked at the form letter with 10 boxes for them to check why you didn't qualify that they really have no intention of ever honoring their refund and that I had gotten absolutely nothing for my $250.
