I had purchased 3 Lion King tickets from Ticketmaster for February 2014. I put in all my information including my credit card information and hit submit. After a while, it said that the transaction couldn't be completed. Obviously I didn't get a confirmation number because it said it couldn't be processed. I go back in and try to purchase another set of tickets because the first transaction didn't go through. 

The second transaction went through. I go to check on the status of the tickets and now it shows that I have 6. I tried to call Ticketmaster right away to refund 3 of the tickets but they were closed. I called in the morning and spoke to an operator. He said that they could refund the 3 tickets but I would still be stuck with the $41.40 fees.

I didn't feel that that was right. It was their computer system that messed up and the show wasn't until February 2014, so why couldn't they just refund the full amount. If it went through the first time and I got a confirmation number, I wouldn't have had to go right back the second time. I let American Express know about the charge and I got a letter from Ticketmaster. 

They refuse to refund 3 of the tickets because they said that it was my fault. How was it my fault that their website said that it couldn't get processed and then it did after I bought they second set of tickets? They just like to scam people. Now, I am stuck with 3 extra tickets that I don't need. The show is in February 2014 and their system messed up, so why couldn't they refund me again? That's right because they are a shady business. I wil never deal with them again.
