Here's the short story in order to keep my frustration level down.

This is an online ticket broker. On 6/5/02 they were showing tickets on their website available for Stanley Cup Finals Game 5 in Detroit for 6/13. I called to ask if the site shows tickets, do they have them in hand and ready to ship. They said "yes." My order was placed and I was charged $1,008.73 on my credit card.

Over the next week I was lied to on five separate occassions about the status of my tickets. I also made special arrangements to getto Detroit for the game from Chicago.

On Game Day I was told to go to will-call as the tickets were going to be there at 4:00. I waited at will-call from 4:30 to 8:20 and never got in. (The game started at 8:00). There were five other couples that we met in will-call who had identical stories, lies, and empty promises from this same company. None of us got to see the game.

Then to top it off--they never called to apologize, nor did they ever issue a credit to me my credit card. I had to call Citi Card and issue a complaint, fill out paperwork, and waste more time. Fortunately, the credit card company did issue a permanent credit so I'm not out the money--but what about those other people? I gave them a week to issue the credit and they never did.

This company will lie to, they won't call you back, they simply do not treat you as a client. Why should you have to work so hard?
