I ordered this product in May of last year through the Tidewater Workshop.  It didn't arrive until September and only after I complained to BBB.  You should check out the BBB website.  I only just took it out of the box this weekend to put it together.  Most of the holes were not drilled all the way through and the openings of most were not big enough to countersink the bolts and screws in order to put in the wood plugs.  A simple design that should have taken no more than half an hour to put together took me half the day.  I had to 'dig out' the holes to make them larger in order to countersink the bolts and still had trouble getting the plugs in.  When it was finally all together the front right leg is about a half inch short and the bench wobbles.  Also, one of the slats on the seat is warped and curved.  The wood is scrap cedar and it just looks cheap.  I'll go ahead and stain it and put a rock under the short leg so it won't wobble.  All in all, I was just pissed and felt like throwing the thing on a bon fire when I was finally done.  Shame on you Tidewater

Aleisa F.'s order was delivered in early August of 2012.

Our policy is that orders can be returned within 30 days of delivery or we can offer a replacement part within 6 months of delivery.

According to this complaint, Aleisa F. stored this unfinished wooden item somewhere for 9 months before attempting to assemble it and then was surprised that the components had become slightly warped. Anyone familiar with woodworking will inderstand that this is not surprising, depending on where and how the furniture was stored through 3 seasons of temperature changes and moisture exposure. The good news is that wood will adjust and a slightly warped bench, once assembled and standing upright, can also straighten out if a bit of weight is placed on it.

Instead of spending a the better part of the day alone and struggling with the assembly until she became "pissed and felt like throwing the thing on a bon fire", Alesia F. could have just picked up the phone and called our toll free number so that we could offer her some assistance.

We have been in business for many years and we maintain a good rating with the BBB. We could have provided Alesia F. a real solution if she had contacted us instead of posting here where individuals are bound by the following fine print:
