I have purchased Total Defense Premium Internet Security as a bundle with SanDisk Ultra 64GB class 10 on TigerDirect.com.  The purchase/order date was 8/29/2013.  Offer window was 8/01 through 8/31.   My claim windows was 30 days after purchase which make it 9/28/2013.   

The rule for rebate was: Mail whithin 30days, Signed,mail original UPC, Copy invoice,Activation code and product must be activated prior to rebate redemtion.

Here what transpired:

Received Total Defense activation code and confirmed activation on 9/19

Received confirmation email from Total Defense on Tracking#,Registration and receipt of rebate on 9/19

Rebate was mailed out via USPS on 9/19

My Due date again was 9/28

I have more than a week for the carrier to deliver this rebate. From Virginia to Georgia.

On 10/16/2013 Mail a follow up question and request status of my rebate.

On 10/16/2013 Receive Customer Rep. wrote back saying they have not received any rebate form from me.

On 10/23/2013 Check 4myrebate.com and found out that it was denied

On 10/23/2013 Call CS center asking why it was denied, the Rep. told me it was outside claim windows. Ask when they received my mail, she told me she does not know but that I can not do anything about it as it was already too late.

Several minutes later call and try a new Rep. he told me that the form was never received at all, which is a HUGE different from what the woman told me.  The Rep. asked me when I have mailed the form, I told him on 9/19.  

The Rep. say he will ask the manager/supervisor to follow up on my case and that there are no guarantee that my claim will be honor as it was outside of the rebate claim window.  Also told me they will have to ask other department to track down and recheck my rebate form. 

Considering that I almost 10 days for them to receive my rebate, also having to Reps saying two different things.  Looks like a scam considering how wildly Total Defense was bundle with other merchandise with the intention of never honoring it!!   

If anyone have similar experience and would like to consider a class action Lawsuite please let me know.
