I ordered a Sceptre monitor with a $70.00 rebate not worrying because of the "Guaranteed Rebate" in big letters. I waited 3 months for the rebate and finally called Tigerdirect. They said to call Sceptre. Sceptre had no record of my rebate so I called back Tiger and was informed I needed a return receipt. Had it not been for the guarantee I would have been more careful and probably mailed it return receipt. Order # P648656900024. This is the first time I have been scammed by a rebate offer.

Strange - the check just arrived.

I guess the one who talks the loadest gets something done. The check just arrived in the mail. Was the company holding the check until I complained or did the employee just not look up my rebate correctly. Anyway, this is the last rebate offer I get involved with.
