I ordered 2 laptops on December 27th 2013 and pid for next day air for them as they were going to be late Christmas presents. I recieved notification that only 1 laptop had shipped. I promptly loged on to the website and looked up my order to see that the second laptop was on back order. I spent the entire day of the 28th calling customer service but never getting an agent. I would stay on the line for 15 min before giving up and trying later. I did that once in the morning and twice in the afternoon. On my last try i actualy stayed on the line waiting for a reprentative for 45 min before hanging up and trying the chat funtion on the website. I was then connected with a Mr Mendoza who was very rude. He would not acknowledge my frustration with the extreme amount of time i has spent trying to get more information on my order. And to yop it off after telling me the 2nd laptop was no longer avalible he tried to tell me to call the customer service number back to get help picking something new out. I i asked to chat with his supervisor and loged a complaint against him.

On the 30th the 1 laptop that was shipped arrived and i promptly took it over to my sisters to give to her and her family as a present. I took the laptop out of the box, put the battery in, pluged it in to the charger and fired it up only to be greated with a pop up warnng that the software was not authentic. Then looking down on the lower right hand side of the screen is another notification that the software is pirated. You can imagine my embarrasement that it looked as if i bought my family some bootleg computer. I apologized to my sister and my brother in law i told them that i would contact Tigerdirect who i am sure would promptly rectify the situation. Later that day i called tiger direct and again was on the phone for a little over 45 min before i became frustrated and hung up. I then tried the chat function several times only to recieve messages that customer service was closed for the holidays (something they should have said on their recorded phone message so i dint waste 45 min of my life waiting for someone to pick up the other end). I waited until January 2nd 2014 assuming that they would finaly be open again and this time i used the e mail function. Finaly i recieved a response from customer service around 1am today (January 3rd 2014) saying that i am lieing and it is impossible that they shipped me pirated software. I replied that they did in fact ship me pirated software and that if they did not remedy the situation i would file a report with the BBB. This website (ripoffreport.com) and Microsoft. They replied again stating i was lieing and that they did not ship the product with pirated software.
