My Concerns
I made a snap purchase because of the advertising on TigerDirect, the deals appeared to good to be true.

The fact is!

My Rebate was denied - Insufficient documentation - No signature on rebate form.

It appears my office staff is correct rebates are not worth the trouble.

Don't - Dot the I; and do not attach the special mailing label and what ever they request and we are out.

So it appears I am out $95 Dollars, because of the above?

Let's see they have my name, credit card number, email address (confirmed many, many times) But they are still not sure who I am?

At first I thought I found a good bargain
even reading the ad made me thing something was not correct.

Now we all know especially after reading some of these posts rebates are a challenge.

At first TigerDirect appeared to be a good deal, easy to order, came within 36 hours, I was impressed with the service.

Email came from rebate on line today:
The Rebate was denied Insufficient documentation - No signature on rebate form.

I hope I can get together with TigerDirect and correct these issues and get paid for what I thought was an honest purchase, from a reliable company.

I have applied for another rebate on the same order and I hope I do not get the same response

I would like my rebate plain and simple -

I am Dissappointed......

Resolved by Attorney Generals Office

Sat, March 04, 2006

I filed a complaint with the State Attorney Generals Office, FTC and my Public Officials.
This matter has been resolved as of February 7, 2006 for my $95.00.
My next step would have been to contact the local broadcast media and the press.

I encourage everyone to make these issues know to everyone you can by any means you can and do it legally.

Do not stoop as lower as OnRebate has.

The next thing we all need to follow up on is since OnRebate has denied our rebates is someone using our information to claim the rebate we have legally file for?

This will be an interesting issue for someone to use against OnRebate.

Good Luck with claim and never give up.

After Two Days = No Resubmissions. - Yes I Feel Ripped Off

I received my notice from onrebate about my other claim, it was approve, now all I have to do is wait to see if it arrives.

I am concerned about my $95 that they DENIED. All paper work was filled out the same.

It's too Bad that - -
I went to TigerDirect web and seen these fabulous deals thinking they must be honest! But then they require us to jump through hoops to file.

Now when you review Step 5:
Item 4: This submission Requires:
a) This Form
b) Original UPC/Barcode Label
c) Copy of Original invoice

The Final Checking point on the form the review of what is required.
Seemed too simple.

And yes Basically a typical case of false advertisement, bait and switch, rebate conformity.
I purchased two products. Sent the rebate forms on time with all the proper documentation's, they claimed that one rebate form was not signed.

Called = It took two days to get through as I was on Hold? Not Signed = No recourse...

I guess they could not find any other excuse.
I hate loosing $95
I should have gone to the local store at least I would have recourse.
I'll never buy any thing from TigerDirect again.
Both companies TigerDirect and onRebate gave me the run around. I am really unhappy with both of the companies.
This is the first time and the last

Note of Interest on TV:
Challenging rebate problems - is on the TV now; the Government is looking into these unpaid claims.
It appears roughly less than 20 percent of rebates are paid! WOW. (80 percent go unclaimed)
And these are the ones that complain.
What about the rest of the rebate filers that do not complain? How many more are there?
Please contact your officials in Washington and let them know what you think about these alleged offers noted as rebates.
