TigerWireless uses an outside service to do the dirty work. TigerWireless is the front where you can buy the cell phone with common cell carriers (Cingular in my case)in a package. All linked from TigerDirect.com. After tricky, but navigable terms, they had refused my valid claims for one part of two $125 rebates for a $250 cell phone. Both rebates were due the same time frame, both were mailled at the same time. Both had documentation and met their timeframes of submission after waiting 180 days and before 210 days of activation. One rebate was PAID for $125, the other for $125 they said was out of the time period to recieve the claim submission!

They offer no recourse and refuse all process to correct this error. Customer support help had given some information that both rebates were seen as received & one paid, some do not see the unpaid claim as received on their system, though they are in the same department! There seems to be fraudulant operations at TigerWireless customer support, ala TigerDirect / TigerWireless and I believe is is also Wire-fly. I gather this is going on with others, as short-changing many separate isolated individuals nationwide will be very profitable for these related vendors.
