Tiki Island Coin Company Coinauctioneer.net, Silvereagles Today Tiki Island Coin Company was paid for eBay items and never delivered the items Galveston, Texas
I won four auctions from Tikki Island Coin Company on eBay in April and May 2011: 2 auctions for 5 one ounce silver coins apiece and two auctions for 1 roll (20 one ounce coins) apiece. At the time of the auctions they had over 1000 positive feedbacks with no negatives.
I received two packages from them: one small envelope and one box. Both contained 5 single coins. When I called to ask where the two rolls were, I was told that I received them in the box. I did not. I spoke, at first, to a man named Greg who was very rude and abrasive. Later I spoke to a man named Bob who kept telling me that I had received 45 coins in the box, despite the fact that I kept telling him that I didn't. I have received written confirmation from the US Postal System that the box in question weighed 8 ounces. 45 one ounce coins cannot weigh 8 ounces.
Tikki no longer sells on eBay, but in the last month of their activity they received approximately 60 negative feedbacks (it is also interesting to note that they changed their eBay user ID several times in the final months). I have contacted the U.S. Postal Service and Texas State Attorney General. In return, I have been contacted by the U.S. Postal Service. They are attempting to locate anyone who sent a form of payment to these people by mail and did not receive the correct items in return. Contact Christopher Carillo, U.S. Postal Inspection Service 1-713-238-4411.
