Chris and Christina Tripp are rip-off artists. They operate Tilghman Mills Stables. Chris is a horse shoer. Christina is a riding instructor. Chris also buy and sells horses. I trusted him to pick up a nice black registered mare to sell at auction, and he was to send me a check whatever money he made over $400. My best friend also entrusted him to sell a nice arab gelding for the same deal. He promised he would send us money after he sold the horses. Weeks went by. He said he wasn't able to sell the horses. Then, I drove to his farm and found out the Arab gelding was no longer at his stable. He said he let a friend get it and the friend was supposed to pay him. He traded my nice black mare for a lame gelding. He wanted to sell this lame gelding at auction and pay me the rest. I got so sick of hearing his excuses that I went and picked up the lame gelding from his farm. He charged me $380 in extra fees to pick up this lame gelding. My friend and I called MANY times to find out what happened to the Arab gelding and why my friend was not getting her money. He finally stopped answering our phone calls.
NEVER EVER deal with these people. They are robbers and horse thieves.

i worked, showed, and was taught by Christina Tripp. She sold me 2 horses and one is literally spook proof and the other one is as sweet as can be. I never got to really know chris to much so i can not say whether the statement below is false. But, i no more than most that my crazy, awesome, and smart old riding instructor would never do anything like that. Unfortunetly i have lost touch with her but i miss her a lot. Those old days at the barn meant a lot to me and taught me lessons i wont soon forget. (Snake incident) Well if you read this christina i miss you a lot and i hope we can get back in touch soon. I am Christina Tripp of Tilghman Mill stables. I have NEVER met or made any arrangements with this person Mary who posted this about me and my barn.About buying or trading horses for her or anyone knowing her. The horse she is speaking about is not even her horse, it belongs to a friend of hers. So why has her friend not tried to contact someone about the horse? Mary has post terrible things all over the internet about me and where she has posted this stuff is the phone number to the house and the barn. Why has she or her friend not called or stop by the barn to find out about this horse? Why has it taken them 15 months to contact someone? Then she wants to Slander my name all over the place? The proper channels would of been to go to the local sheriff's office if ,know one could not be contacted about this horse. Not slander an innocent persons repuitation all over the place. One more thing about this, why did they send there horse to someone they did not even know to sell? May be they should of done a back ground check to see who there are sending their animal too? I Christina Tripp have never made any arrangements with Mary or anyone that is her freind ect about selling, buying, or trading a horse. I would like for her and her freind to leave me and my barn name out of this and call it what it is a bad arrangement between them and Mr. Chris Tripp. So next time you want to post something thats fine but tell the truth! Tilghman Mill Stables and Christina Tripp had nothing to do withthis arab gelding or a bad horse trading deal gone bad! I should have left Christina Tripp out of this post. It is her husband who we traded the horse with. Tonight, I got an e-mail from Christina stating that Chris took my friend's horse to a horse sale in Benson and someone stole the horse there. Why did it take 15 months for this information to come to light? Why didn't Chris return our phone calls about the red gelding? I don't know, but I'd like to give CHRIS a chance to make this horse deal right. I will post a rebuttal about whatever the outcome is soon.

I just visited our North Carolina Criminal offenders website and Chris Tripp's real name is Gerald Christopher Tripp. He has two felony convictions and several misdemeanors for passing worthless checks and cheating on services. His convictions range from 1999 to 2006. He is facing charges for driving without a license right now.
Christina's real name is Linda Christina Tripp. She was arrested in 2008 for purjury in court according to the newspaper in Kinston.
Again, that confirms to me that these two are just out to TAKE YOU FOR ALL YOUR WORTH.
