If you are looking to get ISO certified and have been approached by Tim Butler of owner of
Benchmark Registrar Representatives - - Don't just walk away - - RUN!!!

I own a company in Massachusetts and I recently became interested in having my company ISO certified. I found the website of Tim Butler, owner of Benchmark Registrar Representatives. I noticed his website was really cheesy and full of sales hype, so I should of known better. But I contacted him anyway - - what a MISTAKE! I knew the moment this guy opened his mouth he was one of those fast-talking pushy sales types. He reminded me of a used car salesman from the 1970's -- you know the type -- they would look you straight in the eye and lie through their teeth with a fake green just to get a sale. Well, that's Tim Butler - - I was put off immediately by him the moment he started bad mouthing his competitors – - that was the first red flag. Then he claimed he's the only one that can offer me an "official" ISO certificate - - there was the second red flag. In fact, according to Tim Butler certificates are not valid without an ANAB (ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board) accreditation. He had no idea I did my research and learned rather quickly the seedy sales tactics and downright lies these ISO salespeople use to close a sale. I'm glad I did because it saved me over $9,000 dollars! Let me explain...

LIE #1: ACCREDIDATION SCAM TACTIC

I asked Tim Butler, the owner of Benchmark Registrar Representatives what makes his certificate valid and others not valid? He told me straight to my face, "Our certificates are ANAB accredited while our competitors that do not carry that accreditation is not valid." I was appalled because I knew he was lying through his crooked teeth. You see, on the official ISO website (www.iso.org) I found the following excerpt...

"In most countries (including the United States), accreditation is a choice, not an
obligation and the fact that a certification body is not accredited does not, by itself,
mean that it is not a reputable organization. For example, a certification body operating
nationally in a highly specific sector might enjoy such a good reputation that it does not
feel there is any advantage for it to go to the expense of being accredited. That said,
many certification bodies choose to seek accreditation, even when it is not compulsory, in
order to be able to demonstrate an independent confirmation of their competence."

So if you have the unfortunate opportunity to be approached by a sales person boasting
about ANAB accreditation, refer him or her to the above excerpt found on the official ISO
website. Then tell them to get lost! DO NOT FALL FOR THAT SCAM TACTIC!

LIE #2: CUSTOMERS ONLY ACCEPT ANAB ACCREDITED CERTS

When Tim Butler, owner of Benchmark Registrar Representatives told me my customers will not accept an ISO certificate that does not have the ANAB mark, I knew he was lying to my face AGAIN! Seriously, how does this guy sleep at night? Does he have no conscience at all? So I did my own study and had my staff call every one of our 200+ customers to ask them if they care if my ISO certificate was ANAB accredited. Guess what? To no surprise NOT ONE of them cared about ANAB accreditation! That includes all of my aerospace and government contract customers. Let me repeat that! Not a single one of my customers cared about ANAB accreditation... including dozens of customers in government and aerospace industry! In fact, only a handful of my customers even heard of ANAB... and they did not have nice things to say about that organization. So if you are afraid of losing customers because your certificate is not ANAB accredited, I GUARANTEE IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN! Your customers
are with you for one primary reason - because you meet their needs for the products and/or services you provide to them. They could care less about ANAB. Don't be another victim of the wide spread accreditation scam used by Tim Butler and other ISO salespeople and consultants.

LIE #3: CLAIMS TO SAVE MONEY

I found it absolutely hilarious when Tim Butler, owner of Benchmark Registrar
Representatives claimed he can get my company certified for at least 10% "less" than all other registrars. Another BIG FAT LIE! We got a quote from another registrar for up to 50% LESS than what Butler quoted us... yes HALF THE COST!. Of course, good ole'
Timmy will tell you only his certificate is valid. But you already know that's a lie he uses to get your business. DO NOT FALL FOR THAT B.S.!

So in summary, if you are looking to get ISO certified, keep your eye out for the aforementioned sneaky tactics used by Tim Butler and other sales people offering ISO certification. Don't get scammed out of your money!! Work with a registrar not involved in the accreditation scam, and provides REAL support. Believe me, I just saved you thousands of dollars!

Best wishes,
JD

To keep it short, the author of this Report is a competitor as said, its Guberman PMC-LLC - they are trying to sell fake certificates and will slander anyone who rejects or rebuffs thier claims.   Tim Butler is doing certificaitons the right way and he is the guy to call. I have not used his services but being an independent quality manager for over 10 years - Tim Butler knows what he is doing and Daryl Gubermand of G-PMC LLC is a Fraud - he will steal your money, give you fake certificaitons and hit the road. Guberman is currently being sued and investigated on multiple fronts for fraud, theft, etc.

Stay away from Daryl Gubermand and G-PMC LLC or whatever fake company he is creating to try and stay ahead of the LAW.

Mr. Tim Butler,

You are a LIAR! Accreditation is a Scam! Accreditation is a Scam!! What you are saying is if a company is not recognized by IAF it is not "official." What gives IAF authority? NOTHING! You are lying to your clients. IAF is a monopoly that is ripping off business owners making them believe you need to be part of their "club" in order to complete. You Mr. Butler are selling a scam and the business community needs to be aware.

Butler: "The client, was being offered an ILG accreditation mark - unrecognized by the IAF" What Butler is saying here is if you don't become part of a monopoly (IAF) you are not any good. Is this how American business works? Where's the law on you need to join IAF to be accredited? THERE IS NOT ONE!

Butler: "The worldwide organization that provides oversite, to the legitimate and recognized ABs, *accreditation bodies from around the world." Again, more BS from scam artists Butler. Again, there is NO LAW and no regulation on any accreditation body. Show us the law Butler that shows which accreditation bofies are legimitate? You can't! Because you are lying - there is no such things as "legimitate accreditation." The business owner should decide who accredits them... they should never be forced to be accredited by particular organization. What are you a communist Mr. Butler?

Butler: "ANAB is the recognized accreditation body in the USA." Again, more BS from Butler. There are many other accreditation bodies that are recognized. Why limit it to one organization? Where is the competition? The US will NEVER allow just one accreditation body to be recognized - it's breaks all antitrust laws. I suggest Tim Butler move to a communist country because that is your thought pattern. Oh wait, Butler's from Liberal Massachusetts - go figure.

The bottom line business owners need to wise up and stop falling for myths and scams about accreditation. As a business owner select the consultant or registrar that provides you the best service and value. Don't go with some con artists telling you there is only "one official accreditation body." Don't fall for it anymore business people.

I Agree Tim Butler Is A Crook!

I too was approached by Tim Butler, owner of Benchmark Registrar Representatives. This Butler crook lied to me as well telling me accredidation is needed in order for my certification to be valid. Well folks, ACCREDIDATION IS NOT REQUIRED!! Butler also told me ISO certificates need to be accredited by some company named ANAB(r)... well turns out that is a lie too. If there's one thing I can't stand is a fricken liar... and Tim Butler is just that A LIAR! I decided to go with another company that old me the truth about accreditation. And I saved $thousands of dollars doing so because I selected a registrar that was NOT ANAB Accredited.

WARNING!!! If you are looking to get your company ISO certified and the sales person is telling you that your certificate must be accredited by ANAB or some other accreditation body to be valid... you better kick him or her out of your facility because it's nothing but a d**n lie. Don't be bamboozled like the other company stupid enough to listed to Tim Butler and his lies about accreditation, ANAB or IAF. Don't fall for that BS! Select a registrar that is independent and not lieing to you about accreditation. The original author of this ripoff report got it right about Benchmark Registrar Representatives... you can see in his response he continues to lie about accreditation!! Would you seriously do business with this liar?

And NO I'm not a competitor. I'm only a concerned business owner fed up with these lies from crooks like Tim Butler.
