Complaint Review: Tim's Transmission

I took my vehicle to Tim's Transmission in Beauty, Ky to obtain an estimate on getting my car fixed due to an antifreeze leak. The elderly gentleman reported to me that I would not be charged for the estimate prior to my knowledge. He reported that he would call me when he had looked at the car and he would give me the estimate on how much it would be to fix the leaking antifreeze. He called while I was at work and after work and I was unable to to answer the telepfter dishone at home. I went to pick up my car and the company then reported that I would owe $95 prior to removing my car from his property. Acussing the matter, he reported that he would charge me 3, 4, even up to 5 times the price. He even reported that he would just "keep" my vehicle after I questioned him about the charges. Getting a lawyer was also discussed. He reported that he keeps a lawyer on retainer and I should get one. He reported that it would be more than "$95."
