I spoke with Tom Smith the owner of Timbercreek Carriage Doors and placed my order in early January for a garage door. I was promised a 4-5 week lead time and gave a deposit. It's been apporoximately 8 weeks since my order was placed and my phone calls and emails requesting a status have gone unreturned.

I am posting this report as an attempt to recieve some returned correspondance from Tom as I see that he responded to a similar previous issue from Gary in Warrenton, NC.

I just want to recieve what I've contracted for in a timely manner and I will gladly retract and / or update this entry noting the issue has been resolved.
Thanks,

Dave

TimberCreek Carriage Doors - The final note - Buyer Beware!

After all is said and done, my replacement door came once again manufactured to the wrong size. The installation and decorative hardware that I purchased and paid for never arrived. For my inconvienance Tom promised me a refund to pay for my installation cost and the cost of the hardware he never shipped. For several months I have been attempting to contact him to receive my refund and decorative hardware. As of this date he owes me over $700 and will not return my correspondance. In addition to this my garage door is splitting and cracking in a few locations. Given I paid TimberCreek for a finished door, and I sealed the inside of the door upon installation, this speaks to the quality of craftsmenship. Obviously I would not recommend doing business with this company.

While late Timber Creek came through and delivered my door. Without blame to Timbercreek, the door arrived damaged by the shipper and unusable. To Tom's credit they quickly manufactured me a new door that I received promptly. The door is beautiful however I've still yet to receive the decorative hardware that was purchased.
