Timbers Of Deerbrook - CNC Investments Apartment Staff Ripoff! No Noise Control after 1 year of complaints Humble Texas
For almost a year now, I have had a problem with my neighbors regarding loud music at all hours. The staff at the front desk has done nothing more than send courtesy officers to the apartment and I think maybe a warning. This music keeps me up at night, prevents me from studying for my medical degree, and is just all around disturbing.
The police officers (on the occasions I have had to call Humble Police Department because the office would not help me) have written tickets, but this has done no good. I am now scared to leave my apartment alone, especially at night, becuase the men who live below me are intimidating and they know it is me calling because I have tried to speak to them before (they don't speak English, apparantly).
I have been dealing with this for almost year and the office staff has basically told me they don't want to help me because I am the only person complaining - essentially it is my fault. I have also had problems regarding repairs.
After I sent an e-mail on 4/3/2005, stating the above exactly, to CNC Investments, John J. Adams, the "Property Superviser",immediately contacted me to set up a meeting. We met at the apartment office two days later. John apologized to me and stated that he would send one of his maintanence men over to the apartment below me (the one causing the most disturbences) and also give letters to the whole building - give him a week to solve the problem.
I was curious as to why he wasn't talking to the people himself with someone to interpret, but I said ok, let's see if this works. It is now the 15th of April, and the music is STILL loud and disturbing. The letter and maintanence man obviously didn't work, no were meant to work, I believe. Nothing has been done, or will be done, it seems, to keep the peace at this apartment complex.
I know it is less expensive to ignore me and not evict the people below me, but CNC/Timbers of Deerbrook is not doing the right thing here. I WOULD NOT recommend this complex or any other CNC complex to anyone.

There is absolutely no respect from the people from the office. I was literally threatened by one, who told me that she knows people that would hurt me and is friends with police officers who would arrest me. This all because a woman was thrown into a glass window of the tenants next door to us-and because we were next door she accused us of it being our fault. There was also an issue with our stove which we requested to be fixed...that never happened-two months later the stove sparked up and blew through the metal causing a shortage throughout our apartment. I'm almost sure they go into the units when they know the tenants are not there, and have had office workers try to get into the apartment with a key when we were inside.

CNC Investments manage properties in 9 , yes, NINE states.
They treat the tenants at all their properties the same - like crap!
They lie, cheat and steal from anyone that they can.
I am in litigation with their Monterone Round Rock property.
There is also currently a class action lawsuit in progress against Wester Rim. If enough victims of CNC Investments band together the result could be another class action lawsuit.
Every victim of this company must file complaints with the Attorney General. The AG is currently looking at this company and the company before them that managed these properties, Western Rim.
