First of all, i tried to get my internet through several other companies for $9.99 a month. they informed me time warner controls my area.Timer warner does have a monopoly on my block.

I got the month to month, no contract service for the roadrunner high speed internet. $44 a month just for internet. In November i paid my balance in full.Twc called and left a message asking if i would like to continue my service or they will send a tech to permanently cut off my cable( i couldn't access internet anymore).

I didn't return the call because i'm saving to move and didn't need to waste $44 a month. This was still November. So January 23rd i get a twc bill for $139.
I called, they said i had to talk to billing (billing was a recording to leave a message.) febuary 3rd, i get a call from collection. They tell me it was a monthly charge for renting the modem and buying the modem.( if i bought it, how could they charge for renting it?

They did let me return the modem for $44 .I still had to pay the rental fee of $97. I will NEVER use twc or recommend them to anyone..BEWARE!!!
