This person wanted a USED CISCO router for a business he was involved in. I sold him one and tried to assist him & his associates. I spend over 3 hours of my time working with them for FREE. I normally get $75.00 for my Network consulting services. He asked me to hold the check for a few days to be sure everything was working. I said NO PROBLEM as it was used equipment and wanted him to be sure it was OK. Now when I tried to cash his check, I find out he does not have suffecient funds in his account.

OVERALL, this person is a THIEF, LIAR and CON ARTIST. I am sending him a certified letter tomorrow demanding payment for the HOT CHECK and then in 2 weeks, I am filing a CRIMINAL COMPLAINT with the District Attorney. Maybe that will get him to pay up.

Unusable cisco router

#2UPDATE Employee

Wed, October 14, 2009

This gentlemen attempted to sell our company a used cisco router. What he charges for any of his services is completely irrelevant, since we have our own network engineers to implement the router and did not hire him for any of these services he is explaining he "normally charges for". The reason he spent time trying to work with us for FREE- was because his router did NOT do what he said it did, and was actually the wrong model for what we needed and requested from him. He was unaware of how the router functioned himself, and wanted to make the sale regardless of whether or not it met our requirements.

There were numerous attempts to contact him, including both emails and voice mails- telling him to come pick up the equipment from our office and that we would not be paying for it.  He responded to none of those emails, and instead tried to cash a check he had no business cashing. A trail of this check will show it was a STOPPED check with our bank- and did not come back with insufficient funds as he is trying to state.

He is simply an angry person who was not able to sell equipment that did not meet the criteria that he promised and what we were expecting based on his sales promise to us. He then decided it was not worth his time to come pick it back up. We should have charged him for storage space, but decided against it.

100% FALSE REPORT.
