Complaint Review: Timothy Peabody Law Office

Although I did not write the original complaint about attorney Timothy Peabody, he seems to think it was me and, as a result, wrote very disparaging comments about me and my case.  The fact that he thought it was me when the details presented by the client are clearly quite different, is surprising.  The fact that he reverted to personal attacks and misinformed statements is not so surprising, and demonstrates his true character.  I asked him to remove his posting that misidentifies me and my case, but he has chosen not to do so.  He is rude, arrogant, largely ignorant of the law, and extremely lazy.  He clearly does not know the facts about his own clients' cases, which is why he is so inept in representing them.  DO NOT USE THIS ATTORNEY.

HI ATTORNEY PEABODY,

HAVE YOU BEEN SMOKING WEED LATELY?

Because of YOUR poor representation I was the one who lost MY ENTIRE CASE. I NEVER got SOLE joint or legal custody of the children as YOU are lying with NO SHAME!!

YOU like to threaten YOUR OWN Clients by filing lawsuits against them when they fall behind their payments BECAUSE OF THE ROUGH ECONOMY. If YOUR client fails to make the payment then YOU would NOT feel ANY SHAME to divulge YOUR own clients’ privileged, confidential and secret information on the Internet to make YOUR Client less of a person.  

FOLKS, please read another Rip-Off report against Peabody filed by his ex-client, Doug, under the Rip-off Report number 1118003. SEE FOR YOURSELF WHAT PEABODY DID TO HIM

In this Report, when his former client, Doug, was unable to give Peabody the money, Peabody felt NO SHAME to expose the privileged and confidential information relating to his JOBLESS Situation and disparaged this Client to the entire world OVER THE INTERNET

His own client, Doug, provides a reference to CA Law indicating that Peabody had an affirmative duty to safeguard the confidential and privileged information of his own clients. But since Peabody does not give a d**n to the LAW, he would continue to release confidential information of his clients.

What makes YOU think that he would not do the same thing to YOU once YOU become his client?

Peabody talks about another BULLS*** in HIS Reply of having a “Phi Beta Kappa achievement award as a junior in college. He conveniently FORGOT to tell YOU that NOW he is over 50 and he referred to his “Universal ground breaking achievement” taking place ABOUT 30 YEARS AGO when he was in his 20s attending “A JUNIOR COLLEGE” !!!!

He is so STUPID and RETARTED that instead of telling us about the honors he has earned OR having being a “Certified Family Law attorney from California State Bar”, he is trying to fool YOU by his ACHIEVEMENT OF A “JUNIOR COLLEGE” that happened about 30 YEARS AGO.

BUT WAIT A MINUTE, he might be throwing out another set of BUSHTIT on us. This is what he states in his reply,

“I am the only family law practitioner in this state who has received the Phi Beta Kappa achievement award as a junior in college”

Listen Peabody, there are over 170,000 attorneys in the State Bar of CA. How did YOU find out that YOU were the ONLY “ONE” ever walked on this land of CA having this “Phi Beta Kappa achievement of a junior high school” which by the way, State Bar of California, does not even recognize this as having ANY achievement in ANY field of LAW.

If YOU are SO SMART and YOUR English and YOUR legal skills are so GOOD then why don’t YOU SHOW us some of YOUR recently published articles on Family Law in some of the reputable legal magazines?

AND, by the way, is not that true that multiple clients of YOURS have filed Complaints against YOU with the State Bar of California?

PLEASE DON’T LIE NOW.

FOLKS, don’t believe me, call yourself at the “State Bar’s attorney Complaint hotline” at 1-800-843-9053. Give Peabody’s State Bar ID number of 134131 and ask the complaint analyst how many complaints are there against Peabody.

FIND THE TRUTHFUL ANSWER AND DECIDE IT FOR YOURSELF!!!!!

YOU might be thinking to retain Peabody for YOUR family law issues that may involve children –a decision that can affect YOUR ENTIRE LIFE if its gets screwed up. This is an EXTREMELY IMPORTANT decision for YOU to hire the right attorney IF YOU DON’T WANT TO BE REGRETFUL LIKE ME AS I’M THE UNFORTUNATE ONE BECAUSE I MADE THE MISTAKE OF RETAINING THIS “CLOWN ATTORNEY” CALLED “PEABODY”

Before YOU setup an appointment with Peabody ask him to give YOU at least 10 Court Case Numbers of his RECENT clients for whom he handled their cases during the past 12 months.

MAKE SURE TO ASK FOR THE RECENT CASES AND ALSO GET THE RECENT CASE NUMBERS.

First, most likely Peabody would lie to YOU stating that this is “confidential information”. Don’t fall for his BS, because every document that YOU file with the Court is in public domain and can be accessible unless the Court orders it as confidential information which is extremely rare. Insist on getting those court case numbers from Peabody, otherwise tell him that YOU are going to cancel YOUR appointment with him. If you get those case numbers then go to the Orange County Court house located at 341 City Drive in Orange CA. Go to 7^th floor of the Court house, use the computers there and search under these case numbers provided by Peabody and BOOM, YOU WILL FIND THE REAL “STUFF” ABOUT PEABODY.

Look at the outcome from each of these cases through the minute orders issued and entered by the Court and see for YOURSELF how badly Peabody screwed up his previous and continue to screw up HIS CURRENT CLIENTS!!!!

DO YOURSELF A FAVOR, DON’T SHED THE TEARS OF REGRETS; THE WAY I DO IT NOW!!! RUN AWAY FROM PEABODY AND SAVE YOURSELF A LIFETIME OF MISERY!!!!!!

I have read your most recent rant about my legal services rendered to you.   The following is my reply.

First of all, you have made some indication that my writing skills are subpar or worse.    I thought I would give you some background since you apparently don't speak English as a first language yourself despite your current occupation as a teacher in our junior college educational system.  Notice the word "payed" you used in your complaint instead of the correct word "paid."   You think I have trouble with the written word?

I am the only family law practitioner in this state who has received the Phi Beta Kappa achievement award as a junior in college.  Look it up.   The Phi Beta Kappa award is the highest academic award given to college students in this country.   My award was based upon my Summa c*m Laude status at University of California Irvine coupled with my thesis relating to "stolen children" in the family law realm.  This thesis was published by one of my college professors.   Guess they thought I had sufficient writing skills to publish one of my articles under their name.

Secondly, you have made disparaging statements regarding the outcome of your case and my alleged lack of legal expertise in advising you in your family law matter.   My review of your case indicates the following: (1) your husband was kicked out of your house based upon a domestic violence proceeding initiated by my office: (2) you were given sole legal and physical custody of your two children with no documented visitation plan to be enjoyed by your ex-husband; (3) you retained ownership of the family residence with over $100,000 in equity with no payment to your ex-husband; (4) I charged you a flat fee of $6500 despite the fact that my billing would have amounted to in excess of $30,000 without the flat fee arrangement that I offered you; and (5) I had a friend of mine re-finance your mortgage so you could keep your home and avoid foreclosure despite the fact that you credit score was in the 500s and you were essentially bankrupt owing over $50,000 in credit cards and other substantial debts.  Guess I did a lousy job for you.

You won everything but I somehow screwed up.   I think you need to get some counseling to deal with your profound anger issues and eating disorder problems.
