Tiffany Burlison, owner of Tiny Paws Puppy Dogs, contacted my wife through an advertisement my wife had posted on Craigslist. My wife had wanted a Toy Yorkie for a few months now, but didn't want to spend over $300. Tiffany contacted my wife on Wednesday January 9, 2008 about a Yorkie she had for sale at $150.

Tiffany told my wife she had bought the puppy from a breeder in Louisiana, but when she got home she noticed the puppy had an overbite. She told my wife because the puppy had an overbite she couldn't breed him, so she was going to sell him at a $450 loss because the breeder she bought him from wouldn't give her a refund. She sent my wife a picture of the puppy named Fred via email and my wife set an appointment with her on January 10, 2008 to pick up the puppy on Saturday January 12, 2008 at 1:00 PM at a neutral location.

On Saturday morning Tiffany called my wife to let her know she was not able to meet her, because of a complication at the airport on transporting another sale to a client. My wife scheduled a second appointment to pick up the puppy on Monday January 14, 2008 at 5:00 PM. Monday morning my wife received an email from Tiffany stating the original breeder had called her on Sunday evening at 10:30 PM to let her know she had changed her mind and she would give her a refund for the puppy. I called Monday morning to explain to Tiffany that my wife was extremely disappointed because she had already spent money on accessories and food for the puppy and our two girls were expecting him when they got home from school. She didn't want to correct the situation and said there was nothing she could do.

It is now 10:27 PM on Monday January 14, 2008 and the current sales ad for the puppy (Fred) is still on her companys website. Below you will find the ad and a link to her website.

Fred is a 4.5 month old pure bred Yorkshire Terrier (Yorkie) male. He is about 3.5lbs and is not from our puppy house. He is from another breeder. Fred is being litter box trained and eats Eukanuba Small breed puppy food, as do all of our babies. He has a strong overbite
and will not be a candidate for breeding because of this. He is available for adoption now.

Fred $150.00 plus delivery fee if applicable.

I can testify to the fact that Tiffany is 100% honest and a good caring breeder.

I bought a teeny tiny pup from her who is now 5 mths old and 1.8 lbs. She is incredibly healthy, adorable and came to me well loved and adjusted!

I was a little nervous buying a dog online since i have been scammed before, Tiffany gave me her vets phone number and I spoke with him, he closed the deal for me. I have never heard a vet say such good things about a breeder. He has tons of faith in Tiffany and it is very uncomoomn for a vet to say such good things about a breeder.

I know all about ripoff report and how ANYONE can write ANYTHING on here. I know in TX there are a few breeders/brokers who are in competition with each other, and it sure does appear to me that these reports are false and are trying to bring Tiffany down . Tiffany has much more reasoable priced pups than her competition. That right there should show you that Tiffany is a step above.


Tiffany has a beautiful website, clean pups, she takes excellent care of them and she has been very pleasent to work with.

I would highly recomend her.

Thanks Tiffany for my baby, I love her and you have been a great breeder! I am sure one day I will be back for another baby!

BEFORE I SAY ANYTHING ELSE, I MUST STATE "WHAT GOES AROUND MUST COME BACK AROUND!" TIFFANY BREEDS AND SELLS QUALITY PUPPIES. FROM THE MOMENT I SPOKE TO HER I KNEW THAT SHE WAS THE PERSON I WOULD BUY MY NEXT PUPPY FROM.
SHE ANSWERED ANY QUESTION I HAD FROM THE VERY START AND WAS THERE FOR ME WHENEVER I NEEDED TO ASK HER A QUESTION OR NEEDED HER HELP WITH MY PUPPY. THE THING IS...THE PUPPY THAT SHE HELPED ME WITH WAS NOT EVEN FROM HER LITTERS. I HAD PURCHASED A PUPPY FROM ANOTHER BREEDER AND DID NOT HAVE THE BEST EXPERIENCE.
ANYTIME I NEEDED SOMETHING..SHE WAS THERE TO HELP ME OUT! SHE NEVER SPOKE ANYTHING NEGATIVE OF ANY OTHER BREEDERS AND ONLY FOCUSED ON WAYS THAT SHE COULD HELP ME OUT WITH MY PUPPY.
HER HELP WAS GREATLY APPRECIATED. THE FIRST DAY THAT I SPOKE TO HER ABOUT POSSIBLY PURCHASING A PUPPY FROM HER, SHE OFFERED ME HER VETS PHONE NUMBER AND TOLD ME TO GIVE HIM A CALL TO ASK HIM ANY QUESTIONS THAT I MAY HAVE ABOUT HER AND HER PUPPIES. SO IMMEDIATELY AFTER I HUNG UP WITH HER, I CONTACTED HER VET AND HE WAS VERY HELPFUL AND ANSWERED ALL MY QUESTIONS THAT I HAD FOR HIM. HE SPOKE VERY HIGHLY OF HER AS WELL AS DID ALL THE TECHS THAT WORKED IN THE VETS OFFICE. THAT MEANT SO MUCH TO ME...AS I FELT MUCH BETTER HAVING THE OPPORTUNITY TO SPEAK WITH THE VET THAT CARES FOR HER DOGS AND ACTUALLY KNEW THE BREEDER.(IT WASN'T JUST BASED ON HER WORD)
TO MAKE A LONG STORY SHORT...I DID END UP BUYING A PUPPY FROM HER AND FROM THE VERY BEGINNING SHE KEPT ME INFORMED OF HIS PROGRESS AND SENT ME PICTURES OF HIM EACH WEEK. SHE TOLD ME WHAT HE WAS DOING, HOW WELL HE WAS PROGRESSING AND HOW WELL HE WAS EATING.
WE SPOKE ALMOST EVERYDAY. (REGARDLESS OF HOW BUSY SHE WAS...SHE MADE TIME TO KEEP ME UPDATED IN EVERY WAY POSSIBLE.) SHE WOULD NOT LET THE PUPPY LEAVE UNTIL HE WAS COMPLETELY READY AND SHE FELT CONFIDENT THAT HE WAS O.K. TO MOVE TO HIS NEW HOME.
WE SCHEDULED A DAY TO MEET SO I COULD PICK UP OUR NEWEST FAMILY MEMBER AND HE WAS EXACTLY WHAT I IMAGINED. HE WAS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL AND HEALTHY. THE DAY AFTER I PICKED HIM UP I TOOK HIM TO THE VET. THE VET GAVE HIM A CLEAN BILL OF HEALTH. HE DID NOT HAVE A FLEA ON HIM OR ANY PARASITES IN HIS SYSTEM. (NOT THAT I WAS SUPRISED...I KNEW THAT HE WAS COMING FROM A LOVING ENVIRONMENT THAT TOOK GREAT CARE OF HIM!)
I TRUELY COULD NOT BE HAPPIER WITH OUR BABY. HE IS A WONDERFUL ADDITION TO OUR FAMILY, AND OUR SWEET GIRL LOVES HIM. THEY ARE BUDDIES! ANYONE OUT THERE THAT MAY BE READING ALL THE NEGATIVE LIES FLOATING AROUND AND BEING CREATED OUT THERE ABOUT TIFFANY AND HER COMPANY...REMEMBER THAT JEALOUSY MAKES PEOPLE DO HORRIBLE AND DISHONEST THINGS. I TRUELY THINK THAT THIS IS WHAT IS HAPPENING RIGHT NOW TO TIFFANY. SHE DOES HAVE BEAUTIFUL PUPPIES AND MANY PEOPLE ENVY THAT! IF YOU HEAR NOTHING ELSE I SAY...JUST KNOW THAT I TOO WAS BURNED WITH A SICK PUPPY BEFORE I MET TIFFANY.
SHE PROVED TO ME THAT THERE ARE STILL GOOD PEOPLE AND GOOD BREEDERS OUT THERE AND IF EVER I BUY ANOTHER PUPPY.. I WILL ONLY BUY FROM HER IN THE FUTURE. SHE IS A GREAT PERSON AND WAS NOTHING BUT HONEST AND CARING WHEN DEALING WITH ME AND MY FAMILY. I HOPE THAT PEOPLE SEE TIFFANY FOR WHO SHE REALLY IS... AN HONEST AND LOVING INDIVIDUAL THAT TRUELY WANTS WHAT IS BEST FOR HER PUPPIES. I KNOW THAT YOU WILL NOT BE SORRY IF YOU END UP BUYING FROM TIFFANY. HER PUPPIES TRUELY ARE THE BEST OF THE BEST. Sharon from www.preciouspawsoftexas.com filed this report to slander and defame my good name. I now wish to address this once and for all.


Sharon from preciouspawsoftexas.com contacted me about purchasing one of my puppies. She gave me a song and dance about not being able to afford one of our puppies, but that her children had just fallen in love with one of our little girls. She assured me that our little Mia would be a family pet. After NUMEROUS emails back and forth, I offered her one of our puppies that was priced at 1350.00 for 500.00 as a pet only (She actually only ended up paying $475 WITH me meeting her 3 hours from my home as I was bring another puppy to a family). Breeding is not something that we do not advise most of our clients to do as it can be very dangerous for the puppy and most clients want our puppies as loving family members not FOR PROFIT as this woman wanted our Mia for.

I did tell her that I would not advise her to breed her because of her size. She was charting under four pounds at that point. That is all that is needed is another back yard breeder'. **Case in point, she had Mia on her website saying to expect puppies from her this year (2008)!! She was born November 3, 2007. No respectable person would even think of breeding a dog on the first heat, and maybe not the second either!! She is just a baby. I was sickened and appalled when I saw this!


There is only one actual complaint by someone that has purchased one of our puppies on here!! It is Sharon Lobo. The Ashby family was a RUSE! The Craig's did not get one of our puppies. And were upset that they did not get a puppy they wanted. (Refer to above posts)


Sharon lied to us about the conditions of the sale of this puppy. Mia was not meant to be a treasured family pet, she was going to be her main breeder. She posted up her new website whcih was created on FEBRUARY 11, 2008, this website was created TWO DAYS AFTER SHE BOUGHT MIA FROM US!!! (this information was found by doing a search by our attorney-this website is also hosted by worldispnetwork.com.) And it was focused around our Mia. She also lists Mia as being registered.

I have Mia's APRI registration. She does not. She was offered Mia at a pet only price and when she asked me about her APRI registration, I told her that at that price I WOULD NOT include registration. I then asked again about the purpose for her getting Mia, and she said that she just wanted proof that she was full blooded. I had her registration papers with me, but would not release them. I also told her that she could register Mia herself through CKC and I would send her the application for registration (which I did) and she was fine with that. I completely complied and did everything that I told this woman I would do.

I ALSO OFFERED HER A FULL REFUND FOR THE RETURN OF MIA IF SHE WAS NOT HAPPY. Which she obviously declined. Sharon signed a contract and initialed that she would not be getting the registration for Mia. **The only talk of attorneys started when she declared that she would continue to defame me on her website until I released Mia's registration-which is blackmail!


We have hundreds of valued Clients that are very happy with our services and our puppies and I invite anyone to call and speak to us, our past clients and our Veterinarian. And do not have numerous complaints against us. This is an outright LIE. Sharon Lobo has posted TWO of three reports against us. And also tried to defame us elsewhere.

We have in the past on occasion, posted puppies from our breeder friends, and NONE of them have passed away as mentioned in her post. That is a LIE. But, you have to remember that you are dealing with LIVE BEINGS!! We recently lost one of our tiny-tiny babies, but I am thankful that she passed at home with us and before she went with her family. When a problem has ever arisen, we make every effort to satisfy our clients. Whether it is financially or otherwise beneficial to us. This is just a fact of life whether it is puppies, people, anything. As for our track record, our testimonials for actual clients speak for itself.


*And for SHARON to make claims that we sell second hand dogs', that is absolutely ridiculous!! In fact, I received an email (I suppose by accident) that she also sent to her friend Shannon with a picture of a little black Chihuahua being held by the roof of a black car that she had found for sale. Low and behold within days it was on her website. Sharon also gave a testimonial on her new friend's website defaming me and then had the NERVE to COPY my CONTRACT WORD FOR WORD on her website.

Our attorney created that contract for us and he is dealing with that. As he got on her website and documented it before she changed it around a couple of weeks later. I have about 40 emails from this woman and her mental stability can be questioned in almost all of them that she wrote after she got Mia home.


I must say, it is not very often that we discount our puppies as much as we did for her, and it is something that I have not done since and will not do again. One rotten apple CAN spoil it for everyone and this one did. We do offer a puppy of the month for 550.00, but usually not of Mia's quality and Pedigree.
I must say that being an admirer, owner, and breeder of these beautiful babies has been the most fulfilling experience outside of my relationship with God and my children. I am ever so thankful to find the outstanding families that have taken ownership of our babies. I have met and made lifelong contacts with the families that have our Chihuahuas.

THANK YOU TO ALL OF THE FAMILIES THAT HAVE GIVEN OUR BABIES LOVING TREASURED PET HOMES.

As a side note about something she wrote in her post, our facilities are inspected on a regular basis and our puppies are all kept inside our home. Our adults and puppies are regularly cared for by a respectable and knowledgeable Vet. We spare no expense when it comes to caring for our babies.

Sharon signed a contract and initialed that she would not be getting the registration for Mia. **The only talk of attorneys started when she declared that she would continue to defame me on her website until I released Mia's registration-which is blackmail!


We have hundreds of valued Clients that are very happy with our services and our puppies and I invite anyone to call and speak to us, our past clients and our Veterinarian. And do not have numerous complaints against us. This is an outright LIE. Sharon Lobo has posted TWO of three reports against us. And also tried to defame us elsewhere.

We have in the past on occasion, posted puppies from our breeder friends, and NONE of them have passed away as mentioned in her post. That is a LIE. But, you have to remember that you are dealing with LIVE BEINGS!! We recently lost one of our tiny-tiny babies, but I am thankful that she passed at home with us and before she went with her family. When a problem has ever arisen, we make every effort to satisfy our clients. Whether it is financially or otherwise beneficial to us. This is just a fact of life whether it is puppies, people, anything. As for our track record, our testimonials for actual clients speak for itself.


*And for SHARON to make claims that we sell second hand dogs', that is absolutely ridiculous!! In fact, I received an email (I suppose by accident) that she also sent to her friend Shannon with a picture of a little black Chihuahua being held by the roof of a black car that she had found for sale. Low and behold within days it was on her website. Sharon also gave a testimonial on her new friend's website defaming me and then had the NERVE to COPY my CONTRACT WORD FOR WORD on her website.

Our attorney created that contract for us and he is dealing with that. As he got on her website and documented it before she changed it around a couple of weeks later. I have about 40 emails from this woman and her mental stability can be questioned in almost all of them that she wrote after she got Mia home.


I must say, it is not very often that we discount our puppies as much as we did for her, and it is something that I have not done since and will not do again. One rotten apple CAN spoil it for everyone and this one did. We do offer a puppy of the month for 550.00, but usually not of Mia's quality and Pedigree.
I must say that being an admirer, owner, and breeder of these beautiful babies has been the most fulfilling experience outside of my relationship with God and my children. I am ever so thankful to find the outstanding families that have taken ownership of our babies. I have met and made lifelong contacts with the families that have our Chihuahuas.

THANK YOU TO ALL OF THE FAMILIES THAT HAVE GIVEN OUR BABIES LOVING TREASURED PET HOMES.

As a side note about something she wrote in her post, our facilities are inspected on a regular basis and our puppies are all kept inside our home. Our adults and puppies are regularly cared for by a respectable and knowledgeable Vet. We spare no expense when it comes to caring for our babies.

I have already filed a report, but not sure where it went so I am doing it this way. I too have delt with Tiffany and I still have regrets from both myself and others who told me about her before. I won't tell you about my experiences, but it was just as unplesant as yours. She has tried the whole suing thing with me too so I will not go into my experiences with her.

I will say this to Kim and the Ashby family you are not alone. Just consider yourself lucky that you did not have the headache that I have been through with her over petty things. There are others I know who have also been through similar experiences, but are either scared of her threats to sue them or just don't care what happens to her. I quite frankly don't care about what happens to her either I just wanted to let you guys know that you are not the only ones.

She has also been know to do business with another person who has numerous complaints filed against her as well with more sever cases such as puppies dying on them.

For future customers I can only say you will learn from your own experiences. Try not to ship or meet in a neutral place. Be sure to check out the kennel conditions before buying. Make sure both parents are on premises to ensure you are not buying a "second hand dog." (being bought from one breeder to sell for more at a different location.) This is happening more and more as I have done some research.

I am not telling anyone what to do here just make good judgement calls before proceeding to buy from her or anyone for that matter. I know I learned real quick. I am sure we will see more of these reports in the future so just keep researching your breeder/kennel name on google before you buy from that person and good luck.

Tiffany, the attorney talk started by you when I called you the first time and told you I was going to report your company on this site. I never said anything about taking you to court, because I wouldn't waste my time or the courts time with this minor crap. You told me you were contacting your attorney because I threatened you and you business, and quite frankly the only thing I did was told you I was going to report you and your business to let everyone know what kind of person you were. You didn't offer our family a purebred at a similar price, because we would have taken it. Your words were "it is sad you had to resort to the vulgar language, because I had drafted an email to send to your wife telling her I would sell her one of our purebreds at the same price, but I am glad I didn't send it because I would never allow one of my dogs to go to your family knowing the way you treat people." You then sent my wife the following email to make it look like you were the victim:

With regards to the phone conversation that I just had with your husband, I will be contacting my attorney and forwarding all correspondence to him. It is unfortunate that he had to result to threats and vulgar language. I do not feel comfortable rehoming this puppy with his pronounced overbite and she has offered me a full refund as it was a genetic defect. The puppy is being returned to the breeder and if you still wish to have him, I will give you her contact information. As explained to your husband, I was going to offer you one of our puppies at a similar price (purebred with registration). Quite frankly Tiffany, we couldn't care less about getting another puppy from you or getting any money from you. The same day you went back on your word, we found another breeder that sold us a wonderful puppy for $150. The only reason I posted this report was to let people know how you do business. From what I have learned I am not the only person you have went back on your word on. You can have all the people you want put rebuttals on this report. I am glad others have had great experience purchasing puppy's from you. The thing you need to realize is, this is nothing more than a consumer complaint. If you can't handle getting complaints from customers then maybe you shouldn't run a business. Every business out there has made some customers mad. The difference is most companies at least attempt to correct their mistake. Had you properly handled the situation, we wouldn't have had the problems.

We have stated our complaint, and from this point on we are going to forget all about Tiny Paws Puppy Dogs and Tiffany Burlison.

I was going to buy one of their " babies " - I was shown pictures , and ppicked out the puppy we wanted, I was told they required a deposit, I paid it. The day came for us to get our new baby, and it was the wrong one, I called the owner and was told that the puppy I had was the one I had put a deposit down on, when in fact it wasn't - I told them I wanted my deposit back, and I was told I couldn't have it back as this was thier policy, I argued back and forth and was told that it was my bad luck etc .

I had proof of the pictures of the dog I had placed a deposit on, I was offered a different dog at a slighty higher price than what I was paying. I was told that it was a " fair deal " - I do not feel it was fair, I wanted a male, and she wa trying to force a little female on me. I then found out that she had sold the puppy I wanted to someone else who offered her a higher price. BURLINSON does not do business fair and is up for hire to the highest bidder. I would not reccommend doing business with her as I have found out I am not the only person she has done this too.

Buyers beware do your own research do not take 1 persons bad experience with mis communications in your decision about Tiny Paws Puppy Dogs her services are the up most professional. And her dogs are quality breeds and very well raised and cared for.

I can attest to the honesty and trustworthiness of Tiny Dog Puppy Dogs and Tiffany herself as a breeder.

I just picked up my puppy from the airport on Saturday, Jan. 12th, 2008. Tiffany walked me through the process of "shipping" a puppy. Not only did she answer every question I had for the several weeks prior to me receiving my puppy, she gave me information that I didn't even know I needed.

Over the course of that several weeks, we had several problems (on my end!). She was patient with me and tried to be as accommodating as possible.

I don't know exactly what happened with this specific encounter, but I can say that she is by far the best breeder I've ever delt with.

As far as "having problems" on your first scheduled appointment, I can attest to the fact that there was a problem at the airport. Tiffany called me to tell me that my puppy had made it to the airport and was on his way. When I talked to her later, she explained to me that she had to go back to the airport to deal with a problem with a different client. (she told me the whole story, but I don't feel it's appropriate to share it here.) Just as a side note: The problem at the airport was in NO WAY Tiffanys doing. It was an airport mix up.

I'm sorry your transaction didn't work out, but that isn't a reason to file a report here saying not to buy a puppy from Tiny Paws Puppy Dogs. First of all, you weren't buying a puppy that she bred. You were buying form the adult dogs and puppies for adoption page. To say people shouldn't buy a puppy from her is ridiculous! I can't tell you how happy I am with my new "baby", or how helpful and honest Tiffany was while I was choosing my puppy and getting ready for him to come home.

I would like to clarify this situation. I appricedate Cynthia coming to my defense and she and her family are valued clients whom we have enjoyed and respect. The Craig's have started this situation on this website to create conflict, not to resolve anything. They have not asked for anything other for me to reimburse them for the items that they purchased for a puppy they did not have possesion of.

This was a puppy that I purchased for $600.00 to stud in the future. I purchased him sight unseen from another breeder. When I picked him up I noticed an under bite, but I did not realize the severity of it until I arrived home. He would not make a good candidate for a breeder.

I notified the breeder and she was not willing to give me a refund at that time. I figured that he would make a great pet for someone and as he was not bred here, I would not offer him with the guarantees and warranties that we provided for our puppies. Therefore, he was placed on the adoptables page on our website. I also listed him on craigslist.com and answered a couple of the want ads for a puppy.

The complainant's wife Kim Craig emailed back and wanted to know if I would take less than $150.00 for a purebred Yorkie. I should have run for the hills at that point. But at the time, I was truly interested in finding a home for this puppy. We exchanged emails and I even offered to drive a THREE hour round trip (at no charge) because she complained about the long trip and about driving it with her two small children.

It is true that I was held up in Houston on Saturday, BUT if someone had found a dog that they fell in love' with, and for that price-why waste time? I would have driven to pick up the puppy ASAP! She never put a deposit on this puppy and never sent in a contract. All of our puppies are available until this criterion is met. This is stated on our website and after this occurrence; I posted this policy in 4 more places on our website other than the payment, shipping and delivery page.

I was contacted by the breeder late on Sunday night and she agreed at that time to take back the puppy, as she realized that she needed to warranty him because of the genetic defect of such a strong and pronounced over bite. I contacted Ms. Craig as soon as I got home in the morning from taking my children to school. She sent an email back to me stating that she was disappointed and thanks anyway'

What Mr. Brian Craig does not tell you in the assault of my character is that about an hour later I got a very disturbing voice mail from him and a subsequent phone conversation. He CURSED, Threatened to put me on RIPOFF.COM, and post slanderous messages about me on the internet and drive my business into the ground'. I called him back and he continued to CURSE like a sailor (dropping F-BOMBS and other vulgarities) and called me such vile names that I had to eventually end the conversation by hanging up on him.

He stated that they had spent A LOT of money' getting ready for this puppy. When asked, he said 100.00 and that they had opened EVERYTHING and could not return it. Kim Craig then sent me an email stating that she would be sending me a bill through her attorney for the items that they purchased for this puppy. I am unaware of puppy items that are specific to one puppy. It is reasonable that these items can be used for another pup.

I did apologize and let him know the situation with the breeder. He stated that he did not care what my situation was; he wanted his 125.00 Yorkie puppy! The puppy was offered at 150.00 and obviously there was not a meeting of the minds' (on many levels) which nullifies any implied contract' that he may have thought that he may have had. I had only spoken to Kim Craig and emailed with Kim Craig. I had NEVER spoken to Brian Craig until he called to verbally assault me.
He told me that I HAD to give them the puppy or else he would report me, ruin my business name and sue me.

I did offer Mr. Craig and his wife a puppy that is out of our stock for a similar price and they refused. I made the best decision for this puppy and he was returned to the breeder. I will not knowingly send one of our babies to a volatile and hostile environment. I would not feel safe sending one of our puppies into this situation. I am embarrassed by this family's behavior and appalled at the vulgarity that they have displayed. I have kept all emails and the terrible voicemail that this man sent to me and I will be happy to show anyone interested.

**I am very committed to my puppies and my clients. I am sorry for the Craig family that they did not get the puppy that they had wanted, but he belonged to me and it is my responsibility to place him in the appropriate home. I will always have the right to refuse service to anyone I feel does not fit the criteria for a certain puppy. Again, there was no deposit on this puppy and no contract and I did offer another puppy to them and they refused. I did not consider this a business transaction with the Craig's as they followed none of the guidelines to purchase a puppy on our website. There is obviously nothing that I can do to satisfy this couple. I will not offer another puppy after I saw their true colors. In my opinion, they would not be a proper candidate for one of our puppies.

This is a lengthy rebuttal, but I felt the need to explain and defend myself, however I will not use this forum to bash, slander, or argue a mute point. The puppy is back with the breeder and I hope the best for the Craig family in their search for a family pet.

You should get your facts straight Cynthia before you give advice out. When I called Tiffany on Monday, after finding out we weren't getting the puppy, I told Tiffany my wife was very disappointed and when my kids got home they were going to be equally disappointed. I asked her to make the situation right and she was very short, cocky and had no remorse for what she had done.

After hearing the tone in her voice I got angry and told her I was going to post this report. She got angry back and said she was glad the puppy wasn't going to our family. She then said she had drafted an email she was going to send to my wife explaining that she would be willing to give one of her pure bred dogs for a similar price.

Now lets examine that, because she wasn't selling us the puppy she got from another breeder because she was losing $450, however she would be willing to sell a pure bred Yorkie with no defects for a similar price? This makes no sense to me, because pure bred Yorkie's are sold for well over $1000. At that kind of loss she would have been losing less to sell me the original puppy for $150.

The fact is she only said she would replace the puppy to cover her mistake, but had no intensions in doing so, because it was said as an after thought. If she truly intended on offering us a replacement puppy she would have mentioned it first thing when I asked her to correct the situation. I appreciate that you are close enough to her that she would tell you this story and you would come to her defense. It will not change the fact that Tiffany went back on her word, and made a very bad business decision when it comes to customer service and taking care of her clients.

I beg to differ with this individual. I am sure in the process you or Tiny Paws Puppy Dogs may have had some miscommunication, and I am sure what family would not be excited to receive a new puppy they thought they had comming, but unless you have a written contract with someone verbal is nice but in writting is legal. To jump the gun and go purchase specific items for a dog you do not own was your choice not Tiny Paws. It was also my understanding that Tiny Paws Offered you another dog for the same value in his place that you denied. Anyone who knows anything about a pure breed dog knows there is no such thing as a $150.00 dog, In your arguements it sounds to me as though you are upset that you didnt get the bargin you were hoping for and that is why you are making this complaint.

We have purchased 4 dogs 4 seperate times from this breeder and she has been nothing but professional on all levels. I searched and interviewed over 20 breeders before selecting Tiny Paws. We have spent over $5,000.00 on puppies from Tiffany. Without any problems. I do know she is very particular about her dogs and strives for them to be what she promotes, healthy happy dogs. She makes sure that each and every dog is properly caredfor. Her follow up with each dog is commendable you dont just buy a dog from Tiffany you buy a support line to go with it. The many of hours on the phone and many of late night early morning calls when I needed advice she was there with bells on. She cares about ALL her dogs. Each time we have purchased a dog she has been more than willing to exchange a dog if once we recieved it it was not what we were hoping for. I dont know many breeders that would even touch that. I have never met Tiffany in person and I live in New Hampshire and her in Texas. Her references and her reputation was what sold me on purchasing my dogs from her. I think that anyone who would like to purchase a puppy from her should take the time and investigate for themselves the quality, reputation, honesty and dedication she has to her animals. Noone is perfect and sometimes things dont happen for a reason I believe there was a reason this puppy (FRED) did not make it into your hands. Unfortunately you feel the need to slander a company that does not deserve this.

So yes buyer beware....Check all your information for yourself before you discredit a company that is as wonderful as Tiffany Burlisons. Tiny Paws Puppy Dogs.
