I brought my car in this shop for an estimate: tuneup, oil change, and battery (I wasn't sure if it needed sparkplugs or a battery so manager said he'd look at it and let me know: tells me it's 40 dollars a spark plug and over 300 for a battery and 100 for an oil change, plus mounts and labor for 1,300 dollars. I said I couldn't afford that and he charged me $53.00 for the estimate.
