Had good history with Tire Kingdom for many years, including expert front end repairs. Went in April 30, 2003 for "feathered edge on tire". Paid Maximum price ($49.99)for "best" alignment they do, and (free)standard rotation/balance.

Car pulled left. I examined the documents they gave me, and one was a printout from the alignment machine. It said that they returned the Aerostar to me with 4 of the 11 specs out of acceptable range.

Upon returning, the manager told me that caster and camber adjustments can not be done on an Aerostar. All he did was adjust the toe in, and charged for a four wheel thrust angle alignment. My Chilton book says that caster and camber adjustments are done by moving shims on the upper ball joint arm.

I think that being unaware of where the adjustments are on a 17 year old Ford is the same thing as incompetent, and telling me that they can't do what they have successfully done before during major repairs simply means that the guy who knew what he was doing doesn't work there any more.

I won't be going there (for alignment) anymore, myself.
