Tire Rack Beware of being ripped off by Tire Rack, Internet

After being a loyal TireRack customer for over 10 years, and buying all the tires for our 4 vehicles from TireRack-effective immediately I will no longer do business with them. I strongly advise others to avoid them as well. The reason I will no longer do business with them is because of their ridiculous return policy when they ship the wrong tires.  



I ordered a set of 4 Bridgestone tires for my son's car and their site directed me to the 15 inch tire. The shipping to me was $44. However,because of an error on their website they sent the wrong size tire as the Subaru has 16 inch wheels. I found this out when the installer called me to tell me he could not install the tires. When I called Tire Rack customer service department I was told that I could return the tires but would have to pay shipping both ways! I am now out $156 (return UPS was $28/tire) and have no tires because their website directed me to the wrong size tire!  
Needless to say, their customer service stinks. Buyer beware if you deal with them. I learned an expensive lesson and hope that anyone reading this avoids getting burned by Tire Rack.
