I took my Honda Odyssey van to Tire Plus at Stockbridge, GA for an oil change and tire rotation recently. When I called after 4 hours they told me it was done and ready for pick up. I paid for the services and later that evening realised that the tires were not rotated! (I recognized that a tire with a mark on it was in the same position as before!) I took it back next day. A service person asked how I knew it was not rotated.

When I told him, he just took the van and rotated the tires. Next week, I got a check engine light on. I took the van to another mechanic. He found the oil and oil filter to be very dirty. Since he had also done the oil change 4 months ago, he recognized the oil filter brand. He told me TirePlus could not have changed the oil or filter! He did the necessary repairs. I went back to TirePlus and talked to the store manager Richard Thomas. He said 'mistakes happen let me refund your money'! He did not seem surprised or fazed!

When I told him I was upset, he was very rude and made me feel I was making a big deal about a $18 job! There was no attempt at being apologetic for the error which if not recognized could have damaged my engine. It was the attitude of the manager which got me. It was almost like "OK, you caught me- here is your money. Now go away!"
