Complaint Review: Titan Financial

I was contacted February 28 2004, by Sean Collins he explained to me that although I had been denied credit before he had a solution for me. A $2500.00 Mastercard or Visa, and that all I Had to do was pay a 1 time fee of 299.00 to eliminate yearly fees forever and that I could use the card to pay for my fee by going to an ATM and withdrawing the amount and depostiting it into my checking acount.

I was told my card would arive my March 12 and that to be sure that I could have the funds available the would set up the transaction to debit my account on the 15th. Sure enough on the 15th they debited my account and I called immiediately to see why my card hadn't arrived, they explained it would take 12-26 business days, for me to recieve the "package". I explained that the gentleman on the phone told me i could use the card to pay for the fee and she told me he must have given me incorrect information.

I then called back on the 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24, 26, and the 28th business day. all 9 times I believe I talked to the same beligerant, rude, incooperative, scheming, individual. She speaks with broken, hard to understand English, with a horrible spanish accent. On the 26th and 28th day I demanded a refund, however All I got was the typical run around that I was getting accustomed to. I still to this day have recieved nothing but a hard time, empty promises, and a debit of $299.00 from my account. I would appreciate any Help anyone can give me. I can't afford the 21.95 fee for the information because I'm still trying to recover from a 299.00 dollar loss which is 89% of my pay check.
