The last week in April I recieved a phone call, early in the morning from Titan Financial. They guarenteed to send me a Mastercard with a credit line of $2300.00, for a fee of $299.00.

I without hesitation, took their offer. The fee was deducted from my checking account on May 5th.
A month went by...I heard nothing, recieved nothing in the mail...I then tried to call the 800 # that they provided, this # did not work, I only got a quick busy signal. After trying to call for at least 3 days, I finally got a ring and an answer. I told them who I was and that I was concerned because I hadn't heard anything at all from them, the woman on the other end (which was the same woman who I had talked to in April...quickly said, "You have two more business days to wait!" and hung up on me.

About a week after that, I recieved a paperback book about how to straighten out my credit, and a list of credit cards that I could contact to apply.
There was absolutely nothing about a $2300.00 Mastercard.
I contacted my bank today and was informed that they could not refund my $, and that I would have to take this to small claims court.

I am a single parent, supporting three children myself, I can't tell you how much this impacted my household, and hope so much that this doesn't keep happening to more people out there.
