Complaint Review: Titan Financial

I too am a victim of this fraudulent company. I submitted a check by phone for a credit card in the amount of $2300 before i realized that it was a fraudulent company I put a stop payment on the check. My check number was 1253. The company managed to deposit the check under a different check number which was 6 digits long. I called my bank which is wells fargo and they said they put a stop payment on the check number 1253 not the check number the company submitted it as.

They are filing a claim against the amount and my gutt feeling is, that my bank is not going to stand behind me on this one. I dont think I will be receiving my refund. I admit my stupidity but, please can you help?
