Complaint Review: Titan gas and Electric Co.

Titan gas and Electric Co. they told me they could lower my bill. each mo. my bill has gone up over 200 to 300 dollars more houston Texas

Titan Gas and Power had contacted me about lowering my electric bill as a provider..they told me they could give it to me cheaper than Duke Energy can. I trusted what Titan told me and agreed to use them as a rider provider. I am still using Duke Energy but Titan became our carrier. so Titan told us. My electric bill went up 200.00 to 300.00 more a month. When I checked into this.. my Duke Energy bill, my provider, as Titan is only a rider, was less than 150.00 dollars  but I had an additional 200.00 dollars attached from Titan as a rider only...making my bill a total of over 300.00 dollars.

I feel like I am paying 2 electric companies for one one company that is providing the electric and Titan is just using my cmpany as a way to extort money from me. I am in the process of trying to get them off my Duke energy bill and they charged me an additional 200.00 plus another 80.00 for a cancellation fee.. when my current bill from Duke is only 108.00 this month....so my total for the month of Feb- Mar is 353.00..I am disabled and on a fixed income.. I can not afford to pay 2 electric companies.

I have all of my electric bills saved on my PC as I am trying to find an attorney to file a suit against Titan for taking advantage of the disableled. I want my money Titan extorted from me thru my regular Electric company, back and the cancellation fee paid back to me. I have been told if I do not pay Titan my electric would be shut off even when Duke is my Electric provider... please help me stop Titan from stealing from me and others..thank you.. jbutcher
