On November 4, 2004 a memo was sent to the company along with pictures of the defective tires being used in Texas. The memo is from the saleperson in that area complaining of the defects and the pricing of the tires. He states that air pressure that the company recommended has created sidewall blowout on cotton pickers being used in the region. Also he sent pictures showing defects of the tire. He mentions that blem tires are being sent as 1st tires and that the price was high compared to tires being built by other manufafacturers. He stated that John Deere is being sold these tires and was going to meet with them in the near future.

There is 2 known deaths related to these tires. One happened in Minnesota while being mounted at a dealership and the other by a farmer in Texas while he was farming. It is also a fact that in October of 2004, they used a mixture of rubber and subsitutes because of a shortage of raw materials from overseas. They are covering up there mistakes, and doing little about correcting them. Titan tires are being used throughout the world and to the US Military. This could be some of the problems our troops are having in Iraqi with tires blowing out.
